How about having trading added? Not the usual walk up to someone random and open a trade request, but having it implemented in raids? Say you just got a gun, the abyss defiant, or some shards or energies you don't need. Wouldn't it be nice if you could give it to someone else who has been striving for it for months now? Why don't we add trading in raids, but you can only trade items you have acquired from the raid itself, this would make things better for people who are getting tired of farming raids. Credit goes to DattoDoesDestiny If you vote no, please state why below.

  • In this capacity trading would actually work. I've run Crota's End over 100 times and still haven't gotten the Swordbreaker ever. I would instantly trade anything from Crota's End for it.

  • So you want to steal Datto's idea and not give credit

    • I have 10 black hammers 2 songs and absolutely nothing else from the normal raid. I also keep getting the same legendary and other exotics over and over. I would like to swap them for idk the 14 gallies everyone seems to have, which happens to be my unicorn. How long must I grind?!?!

    • I've come around to "no" and here is why. Like other commenters say it would change the relationship between gamers and the game. Less RAIDERS, less strikers and most people not doing Exotic bounties: Maybe even people skipping whole chunks of story and game play because they got power levelled and given gear. Also something that was said in a podcast. Some people quickly loose interest in further reward earnings when given gear. For most of us get the sense of accomplishment from drops or purchase. Why ever level up Vanguard or factions or Eris rank. Also, think of how much more complaining there will be in the forum about fake 32's and pay to win. Some people already just buy the expansion for the gear and not the rest of the content, then get upset that there is nothing to do. This community is already cliquey and exclusionary in certain perspectives. People don't need another thing to be divided by.

    • I'd say yes. But within certain parameters,as it's brought up countless times before. I've dismantled a few raid weapons and armor pieces that others I know needed.

    • It will never happen. To much bs involved. Plus I would never trade any of my weapons.

    • It would break the system. Instead of grinding and never getting anything, you would now just post an offer for a gjallarhorn and get it! I would love to break the system! GO FOR TRADING!

      • Even if they did like in army of two, where its simply, "here, hold my gun, I'm gonna go stab that guy," so that you could pass off a fully leveled jelly till the end of the raid.

I voted no, not because I don't want to get good guns or I'm desperate to lord my rng gambling prowess, but because then I would never have anyone to raid with. If everyone had every gun in the game, I think most people would prefer running around feeling OP, killing level 4 dregs, to getting a team together, fighting lagged out bosses, and praying the new kid doesn't get you all killed, hoping to get gear they already have. I think an alternative might be to have a button on our gear that says, "Please don't ever drop this gun/helmet/whatever for me again," thus narrowing the rng loot pool and marginally increasing your odds of getting your dream gun, instead of your 16th No Land Beyond.

          • I voted no because I think that trading would reduce the amount of runs people would need to do in order to get what they need, which would result in content being finished faster and more people upset about lack of content. Me and my friends did VoG upwards of 25 times to get one of my friends the Mythoclast, the other 2 of us never got it. While I would like to have one for the collection, I want one that I got, not one someone else got. I remember Bungie originally said they want an epic story behind each and every one of your exotic weapons. At best what they have now is a well written paragraph behind each of your exotic weapons, and I believe adding trading would just make it a simple sentence.

          • Ask World of Warcrack developers what kind of issues they have with third parties selling in-game items and it's effect of the culture.
