Legit HoW Question
So info on the HoW dlc has be unconsistant other than the fact that there is no raid and there is Prison of Elders. Once the HoW gear was leaked i have been looking forward to the new armor for my toons (kell armor hunter is by far my favorite design wise). My question is this. Are these armor pieces going to be available at HoW launch? Are they going to be rewards for the Prison of Elders, or am i still waiting for a new raid to come out to obtain these armor collections?
If it is the later case then its looking like HoW isnt even worth 1/4 the price of it imo. No new armor set or weapon set severely decreases the amount of content in this supposed "expansion"
Sure there is Trials of Osiris but i have always found PvP a joke in this game and it would b a shame if the only way to reach the new lvl cap was through PvP
I usually dont ask questions about this game because the general resonse from most people is along the lines of "if u have a question about anything in this game then you obviously suck and know nothing about this game." I feel like these questions are justified though since Bungie hasnt put for any effort to answer questions about the dlc....

2 RepliesYour questions are justified. Until more information is leaked in the upcoming weeks, all is speculation. We can safely assume that the trials of Osiris will reward guardians with lvl 34 gear. However, with the ability to increase your attack to 365 for your legendary weapons, a similar service may be offered for your previous raid armour as well. The arena may also drop lvl 34 armour (I would hope) Only time will tell.

My guess is it will be rewards for Prison of Elders while Trials of Osiris will have its separate Egyptian style armor. I think both will reach the new level cap.

1 ReplyI very much doubt pvp is the only way to reach the new cap, this would take out the majority of the player base. This I can't confirm just my thoughts on it.
