Prison of Elders is going to be better than any Raid
Honestly, I feel as if though the Prison of Elders is going to be a breath of fresh air for destiny. The Crota raid was a disappointment and VoG got stale after the first few times. Four alternating arenas with objectives is going to allow for a constantly changing and interesting survival/arena experience. Plus there is going to be some sweet new loot drops and bosses included. It's like a raid that changes every week! Personally I wish it was 6 player survival instead of only 3... But either way I'm exited.

2 RepliesThe arena may be great, but the 3 man dynamic is a problem for previous six person teams. Bungie have pissed off every established raid team. I hope you're right but It's better to have a raid as well in my opinion. The fact the raid has most likely been fully built is a kick in the stones for raiders. Let's see, I've paid for it anyway.

Horde mode sounds like defend the warsat to me. I truly hope it's something more creative than that; otherwise, I think many non PVP'ers (Osiris) will leave this game. Raids are what we PVE'ers play this game for....primarily.

2 RepliesThe original gears of war horde mode was amazing. Model that and this will tide many over until the next raid. Subsequent GoW horde modes got gimmicky. The original was pure and perfect.

It'll be so awesome! Like playing a game of bowling with the bumpers up so casuals can play too. You won't even have to think or plan or do anything that is remotely close to teamwork. Let's all just kill enemies like we would in any other story mission. The best part is that it's still going to be cheaply made and glitchy as -blam!-! I can't wait till they address fixing it 7 months from now.

I really want to know what the situation is with rewards and gear drop. I'm guessing we can get lvl 34 gear from it but but im not really sure how it might work

FFS 75% of this game IS horde mode like. Further more i'm worried we haven't seen any other end game gear other than the trails.So what will be my incentive to play a mode that we already play?Again PvP a minority on Destiny(Destiny's own numbers) gets significant content.So [u]FOR ME[/u] its hard to stay positive with the new expansion. But i'll wait and see to give my final opinion about it,but i am worried.

Personally I think getting Arena mode is going to be a phenomenal addition... For people who can't do raids especially often having a 3rd to do every week would be too much for me. But being able to stick to Crota and vog and also have something fun to do

I'm with you, I think it will be great. Plus since it's a three man activity, there is a good chance it may have matchmaking, which I think is a point many are missing.

I'm actually excited for it. I love doing the raids but I want something different and this might be better. I love reading comments from people complaing about not having a new raid an how they're done with destiny. Quit the bitchen and be thankful that they're giving us something different plus the new raid will come out eventually so relax.
