House of Wolves is upon us May 19. That's good news for those of us new to Destiny, still playing, and on extended break!
I haven't played much since mid-December, but I'm looking forward to more content, light levels and gear. Like many of you, I already paid for it, but what's next? I'm pretty leery about giving Bungie and Activision another chunk of change after seven months with Destiny so far.
Comet, or whatever it ends up being called, is supposed to be a big shift in the Destiny universe. Hopefully this means we'll get a substantial amount of narrative and world-building, but I'm excited about the prospect of gameplay changes too. It might be pie in the sky, but there are a few things that would get me to opt in come this holiday season.
If they introduced the third subclass for the three classes, you couldn't stop me from buying Comet. Solar Titan, Arc Warlock, and Void Hunter? Yes, please.
What would guarantee your purchase of the big expansion coming this fall/winter?

Edited by Achomaniac: 4/13/2015 8:40:57 PMI have already told myself (and others) that I'm going to buy Comet regardless of the quality of HoW. I love Bungie.Their games have brought me more enjoyment than I can express. And while Desitny is a really fun game and great in a lot of ways, it is lacking in many others. Mainly story. Anyone with eyes can see the potential the Destiny verse offers but most of it's narrative potential is vastly underutilized. I play games for a myriad of reasons but primary among them is story. I like my fun pew pew as much as the next guy but I want my pew pew to have meaning. I like games to feel like movies I get to play and in this department Destiny is sorely lacking. From what I can learn Comet will contain almost as many story missions as the original game shipped with. So if Bungie is going to do anything about the anemic, disjointed narrative/storytelling then it will be there. If not, then I will tip my hat and bid Bungie a fond farewell and will probably never purchase anything they make ever again. What's that old saying? Fool me once.....
