Could be true, if in some references the Traveler is referred to as a "machine" then could the Traveler have put itself into an Exo body in an attempt to alter it's fate? It would also explain why the Traveler seems to never heal and constantly remain dormant. But here's the problem with that; she wasn't "forged in light," now I'd say it's safe to assume that the Traveler was... adding on she tells the guardian in their first encounter that it's always good to pick a side, "even if it's the wrong side." Now what exactly does that mean? I've done my fair share of research and there's actually a theory on Reddit that the guardian's are the darkness, and if that's true, then all of the puzzle pieces start to add up. Just think about it.

That's what I thought! But the time traveling shiz seems plausible too.
