Quiting

So, nearly 4 weeks ago my mom decided she was sick of me playing video games so she unplugged it, I've always kinda wanted to stop but once you're addicted it's hard to. I'm doing really good and she's let me play a total of 3 hours in almost 4 weeks. I'm pretty happy with how everything going, but every once and I while I do miss it, but I'm getting more social and I feel like I'm doing a bit better in school already. But the only hard but is trying to find other things to do, but I've managed and have started hanging out with friends etc more then I used to. Overall I think it's good that she did that and I suggest that maybe you guys should try it! P.S I'm 15 years old in grade 9. Edit: As you guys can she I used to play A LOT. About 4 hours on weekdays to about 8 hours on weekends, that's no minimized to nothing and the occasional 1 hour of playing.

  • When I quit WoW I felt very much the same way. Picked up hobbies that were more constructive and started hitting the gym again. I missed it at first and still have stints where I miss dominating BG's but the time it eats up getting to that point is just nuts now.
