Why can't I access my guardian via this app?
[b]I downloaded this app to be able to access my guardians via my tablet, I entered my email for my Xbox account and everything but what do I do now?[/b]

Hi, it seems that your gamertag/psn id is not linked to the account that you are currently using. This is why you are unable to view your characters in the mobile app or the website. Here's the url which discusses account linking/unlinking: https://www.bungie.net/en/Help/Article/12130 If your gamertag/psn id is linked to another Bungie.net account, then you must have access to that account in order to manage your characters.
