This is likely been discussed [i]at nausea[/i] so forgive me for stirring the shat-pot some more. I'd like to get a feel from the rest of the community about Ascendant Shards and Energy, and the rewards for completing your daily Heroic story mission. I don't have a lot of time to play and grind anymore (Full time University student), so I usually just get on to run my daily mission, maybe check the timers for a community event or two, do some easy vanguard bounties or patrols and call it a day. I've been hoping every daily mission for Shards, to finishing upgrading some of my armor. Yet [b]every[/b] [u]single[/u] daily heroic at level 30 for my 2 Ascendant Mats, I've done over the past week as yielded Ascendant Energy. Energy, Energy, Energy. Currently sitting on 41 Energy, but 4 shards. I'd definitely not call that a 50/50 chance on drop. Something is a little off here. I also think it's a little suspicious that upon completing a community event (Say the Devil Walker in The Divide on the Cosmodrome), if I do happen to get Ascendant materials for completing the event, it's also Energy. Additionally, the postmaster reward for a daily community event is usually a mote of light. Maybe once a week it turns out to be a shard OR energy, but I digress. How is everyone else playing out with this? Any thoughts as to this very uneven play out of materials?
