Did you read? I am not complaining about getting killed I die alot about as much as I kill, so I am not mad about dieing just bored with shotguns full-time

People are only adopting it because of the fact that they are now aware how good these guns are at close range due to the PVE buff. That is to say, people that were not aware of how good shotguns always were in the Crucible now are because of the fact that they behave with the same effectiveness on both sides of the game now. While I was being a bit of a smart-ass in my last post, I tend to take that advantage away with distance and avoiding choke points, which is where shotgunners always camp. Drift aiming with a good scout or sniper rifle will weed them out from a safe distance as well. I think a lot of this will also balance out after the next IB, where shotguns won't nearly pose as much danger.

Also all the maps are short range. I am use shotguns, almost exclusively since I don't have a good primary weapon. But I am just getting bored

What are you talking about? Unless all you play is [b][i]control[/i][/b], plenty of the maps in the rotation are huge maps that favor mid to long distance weapons...

Not in the regular play lists. The long range maps have been exclusivefied to special weekend events and dark below content
