Is fatebringer overrated?
I've had a handful of fatebringers but I just can't get into them. First off, hand cannons have never been my first choice anyway so that may have something to do with it but I still feel they're overly glorified. There's way better legendaries to use in any situation!!! What's your favorite legendary handcannon/fatebringer-replacement???
[spoiler]did VOG last week and had two fatebringers drop at the same time from Templar. Wildly disappointed. [/spoiler]

Now that there's two Scout Rifles that are basically the same thing? Sure they are not as powerful but more effective from range. Fatebringer's strength is that.. well It's a handcannon, and Firefly's damage is based off the weapons impact. If a Timur's Lash (or like impact HC) had Firefly, it potentially be better. It's certainly my favorite PvE weapon. But my current replacement for it is Timur's Lash with Field Scout and Ghelemon's Demise.

ya it is over rated but it is very useful and it can help in desperate times like my team i9n the crusable was losing an then when i pulled out the fate bringer we had a very good chance and i say it is over powered

Best legendary primary in game i been messing with it for a couple days in pvp funny how many times i got a double kill with it from 2 people side by side and between explosive rounds and firefly his buddy dies with him

It is alright, to each their own. Let me just say Fatebringer is indeed one of the best hand cannons in the game especially because it has a arc damage and explosive rounds/firefly. Word of Crota may not be as good as Fatebringer; however, I prefer Word > Fate for some dumb reason. As I said before, everyone has their own preferences. 2 RepliesNo but I do think soon it'll be outdated sadly and won't be any good come HoW. A friend of mine loves his ... I wish I had one but I have Hawkmoon ,Thorn , Red Phantom plus Word of Crota.. I'm set with them , I deleted last word because I had to many hand cannons
