Bladedancer Poll
I personally love my bladedancer but i want to know what you think. Do you like using him/her? Why? If you don't, tell me why.

Like everything else... it's situational. My preference is Gunslinger but there are times where Bladedancer is the better choice for the task at hand.

I only use it for nightfalls, unless its a rare solar burn NF. If thats the case, I'll switch to it if I need to revive someone. But thats about it.

4 RepliesGolden Gun is the only god sub the hunter got. Blade dancer in pve is the worst... You almost die everytime you use it. Everyother sub class is good in both pve and pvp.

The only thing I don't love is that orb spawning is much lower than Gunslinger. Yet it is at considerable more risk that we run up and blade something. For instance, in Crota on hard mode, I can shoot golden gun at the major knights and get 4 orbs per kill, but with blade dancer, it only spawns two.

In PVE, the only useful part about the class is honestly the very good waveclear with encore+showstopper, and the invis which is mostly used for CE (And sometimes clutch Nightfall saves, but Sunsingers are more reliable) The Gunslinger on the other hand has much safer waveclear and just a safer super in general , whereas Bladedancers will constantly put themselves in danger, and when something like lightswitch and some sort of burn is on, you really feel it.

I use it all the time, even if it's not most effective, because I just enjoy it more. I've tailored my weapons, armor, everything build to suit this playstyle and I only leave it when absolutely 100% necessary.

I mix it up in crucible depending on what I feel like doing that day. I post best scores when I bladedance and be obnoxious as possible with a shotgun and thorn lol. For PVE I use Bladedancer for all non solar burn nightfalls, for stealth revive,s and for all of crotas end.

For me, it all depends on the situation at hand. For Crucible or even PvE I'll switch supers when I get bored of a certain one.

I'd use it more if I had Mask of the Third Man. Pve wise, I'd like to be able to use it longer while taking less dmg. I have used it during that one daily mission where you kill Draksis. The part where you begin to board the ketch is the perfect place to use Arc Blade because of that music. It gets me so pumped.

I use bladedancer for both pve and pvp. I love moving fast and blinking in for a kill or away from danger. Mask of the third man + encore ftw

It's great for nightfall a, you can crouch and get invisi, then go revive a team mate. I use gunslinger for pvp tho.
