Commander Kurt Ambrose (former Spartan II) confirmed this in the Ghosts of Onyx book.[/quote]It's true. The III's are IMO my favorite and I'd be a III if I were to be a Spartan. The only down fall is they aren't better equipped like the II's since they were the main program to succeed. Only Noble Team were slightly better equipped and Headhunters, which is less better than Noble. Spartan-III's had better training, and 100% chance to succeed in augmentations. If they were given the Mark V or IV they'd kick the II's rears.
