With the new update online, pulse rifles now have a 9.7% base damage increase. Post your thoughts! How has this changed the Crucible? Are they more useful in PvE now? Will you begin using pulse rifles now if you hadn't before?

It is pretty ridiculous. I am now seeing Suros Regime users get .14 KDs while Red Death users are now getting 2.00+ KDs. I honestly don't like the change very much. Every level 32 I see is using a pulse rifle. My Hawkmoon is nothing compared to the improved pulse rifles. I used to come in first every Iron Banner game and now I am struggling to get third. The "slight" reduction to hand cannon accuracy plus the pulse rifle bullets that drastically stagger your character is a bad combination. Hand cannons are so inaccurate against these pulse rifles. The only way that I win a gun fight is if I get a considerable damage bullet headshot with my Hawkmoon and that is very difficult to do with this new update. Bungie wanted people to use pulse rifles more, but making them crazy OP isn't the way. I play Crucible quite a lot, but I won't be doing so if this keeps up. Bad day for hand cannon users that now find their gun to be missing every shot. Good day for pulse rifle users that take down guardians' shields in one burst. I don't use auto rifles much so I can't say anything about that.
