I've always been used to seeing the most very recent forum posts -- at the top of the forum topics, and the bottom of any given thread, right? Quite straightforward. Now, however, there are several options given to sort thread topics in a given forum (latest replies, most popular, etc.), but none are given that pertain to the threads themselves. By now most of us know that the [b]newest post[/b] (in a thread) will be right underneath the Original Post, while the [b]newest reply[/b] could be anywhere in the thread, and indeed, it could be completely overlooked entirely, seeing as how you must open the replies to posts in order to see them. [b]tl;dr[/b] If I'm still being followed here (idea-wise), [b]I think it makes sense to have options implemented that will allow us to sort how we (individually) view thread posts.[/b] Or, even, replies to a particular post will bump that particular post, and it's related replies, to the top of the thread. What sayest thou?
