• I see a lot of improvement from your last video, and I'm glad you took some of the ideas I had with you on this. There is some room for improvement still, but since this is your second (?) release on here, the work done on this video comparatively is leaps and bounds better! So I see some semblance of a story going, you have a series of guardians doing awesome in the Crucible that lead to them taking down Crota. However, how these guardians got from point A to point 65T is beyond me. It was an instant leap almost from Crucible fighting to the moon, and though the actual sequence at the end was quite dramatic, it was not really well explained. Editing can be a long and arduous process, and I know for a fact that I grew impatient on every single edit I've ever done. The best thing to do is make something as best you can in one edit, then leave it alone for an entire day and come back to it afterwards. It gives you a new appreciation for the goings-on of your video and gives you a fresh view of the work you're doing. Things to improve on: - Scene transition; though there is much improvement from your last video, it's something that will take a little time to perfect. Try to make it a point to make a transition be as smooth as possible. The way I learned to do it is by spending an entire day working on the first thirty seconds of a video. - Learn your program; I'm not sure what you're using to edit, but if it's not an advanced editor, I can send you a link to a free editor that assists you in learning the basics and more advanced steps of editing. If you are, try to really get into the small details of it, learn every process as best you can. The best way to do that, is make a five minute video that uses every single process in a single, flowing motion. (It's very hard actually, and quite the fun challenge!) - Music/audio; the music selection matched the video just fine, but the audio cutting into the music didn't seem very structured. It seemed more like you would cut the music to make space for the different comments. Though this can be a powerful tool when used properly, it's better to adjust the levels of your music to allow for audio to speak over it. - Story line; the best way to make a solid video is to make a timeline of the plot. Draw a line on a page, and have your start, finish, and major points put into the time lapse. From there, explain how you'll be getting to each point along the way. If you'd like an extremely good video (or video game, or book, or play, or what have you), always have a firm start and destination, then fill in the blanks as you go! In all, your improving, keep up the good work and hard practice, and you'll make some videos the envy.
