I just got 5 chest engrams trying for Praxic fire. I had 132 motes. Crest of Alpha Lupi, Crest of alpha lupi, crest of alpha lupi, crest of alpha lupi, HEART OF THE PRAXIC FIRE. I swear, I was going to quit the game if I didn't get it. I am so happy. I have been trying to get this chest since day 1 and it didn't exist on my game till now. Cryptarch was trolling me so hard but then gave me the thing I wanted. I actually like Destiny more now because my character is complete. I can now build my sungsinger with radiant skin. This chest is so awesome. =D
PS: I am so happy so try not to ruin my fun. I am the person who was going to burn my disc last time when I wasted everything on ib.

7 RepliesI had stocked up 163 motes since he sold the helm engram. Only thing I wanted and or needed was HoPF. 7 shots at it (161). Decrypted all 7- 3 Armamentarium, 2 Lucky Raspberry, Voidfang Vestments and Starfire Protocal. My heart sank. How could it be that out of the 7 possible chest pieces that I ended up getting stuck with this junk? It gets better, my friend tries his luck and Bam get HoPF on the 1st try and I also has 165 Discipline, the highest stat in the game. His brother gives it a shot and what do you know, he gets his 3rd. Couldn't believe it. Don't get me wrong I was happy for my friend but really rng?!? With 3 motes left to my name I headed into RoC but only turned up with a couple more in the span of an hour, by this time it's like 4 am. Tried sleeping but couldn't, only ended up getting about an hour or so. Turned Destiny back on and relentlessly ran RoC into the ground till I picked up a total of 17 (I had the cleansing bounty on another character so there's 3 right) Hop on my hunter from my warlock and throw myself mercifully to the forums for the nightfall strike(had 3 tries with my hunter solo before seeking help). I get invited from a NIGHTFALL post. I joined up and these 2 guys were at Omnigul so I start picking off the hollow knight each time he spawns and lay damage into Omnigul. I get my 10 but wait bounty doesn't pop up. I thought huh ok maybe it's just lagging and will pop at the end. Omnigul is defeated and the rewards screen pops up. No bounty also both of them get multiple blue engrams. I looked at the top and there it is "Weekly Heroic Strike" (rage moment) backed out and decided nope not again. Thankfully I see while browsing my roster list that another of my friends has just finished his Crota raid. Invite him in. Sure we can run the nightfall. Ended up restarting once but got all 10 majors or ultras THANK GOD! +3 motes now I'm up to 22. I finish a few bounties with the Hunter bam +1 more. 23 motes this is it! Switch back to Warlock for best possible chance (may be placebo effect) take all 23 to Xur, buy my engram. "I know this is HoPF, PF, PF. Run my butt to Master Rahool. HoPF HoPF (encrypt) H-O-P-F!!!!!!! There it was and the best part it's discipline has a read-out of 162. Never have I worked so hard for anything in this game like I had for this Praxic Fire.
