So I told my girlfriend today (2 years of live in relationship, 10 years prior. We are 26 and 27) that it's time to clean all the random clutter in the house that is considered "decorative". What I mean by this is all the random "neat" items that we collect over the years in our late teens and early twenties and use to "decorate" our living quarters.
She did not take that shit lightly and told me i'm being heartless to her emotions. I will admit, I told her it was time for us to grow up and organize our living quarters like Mature Adults.
Yes, this is up for scrutiny as "organizing and living like adults" is ones own interpretation BUT she never wants to have company over because the house is always so "cluttered". Organized clutter to be more precise.
She left my work in lite tears and QUITE upset.
The -blam!- do I do
EDIT: I do not want to throw anything out.
I simply want to box a lot of the clutter up and put it out of site.
I'm sick of seeing a billion seashells all over the place

Wait for her to finish riding the crimson tide
Huehuehue
She's a hoarder. Kill her now.

Kill her

Edited by Ellis: 2/13/2015 7:38:23 PMI've upset my girlfriend too. She got a cramp from fapping and I had to wear a carpal tunnel glove for a few weeks.

Without telling her, start removing small shit she never touches or sees. If she goes batshit crazy shortly thereafter, you've got a hoarder who needs help. If she doesn't notice it, start dumping some more useless shit.

Post her pic

You see it is really quite simple friend, firstly you find a sizeable box, preferrably one square in nature. Not in nature, for squares are not natural. Then you cut a perfect circle from said box. Oh but first, and I really should've mentioned this sooner my apologies, but you must must gift wrap first, with a bow on top. Any colour bow will do however I've had good luck with red. Moving on to the most important part, you must cut a perfect circle, as stated above, in the bottom of the box. Then you simply find your GF, tell her you love her and show her the box to which she will be overcu- Erherm my apologies, overcome* with joy. Thats better. And the reason she will be so enthused and problem solved is because your junk will be inside the box when she opens it. Rinse and repeat, goes great with proposals as well.

Tell her that she misunderstood, and that you simply want to store them in boxes. She thinks you want to throw them out.

Valentines present A big one Quickly! Fix it now!!

Get her mental help. Seriously, I see that almost as hoarding.
Trust me, my mom and her mom both do it.
Edited by TunnelSnakesRule: 2/13/2015 3:04:56 PMTry asking when she's not menstruating. If she is not runnin red rivers just sit down with her and talk. Ask her why she wants all of those things around the apartment.

Tomorrow just buy a dozen roses and hide your shlong In between them
( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)
Be Vincent VanGough and send her your ear

Where were you when this happend?
-
How about you just do it yourself? I know it might seem like a lot, but if you put your mind to it you can probably get it done faster then you think.
-
Personally I don't like hoarding at all. You have to get to an agreement with her - 6 months of minimalist decorations / 6 months of what ever the -blam!- she wants. Sounds good?
-
If she's hot then go apologize right now. If she's not, throw her out the house with the rest of her trash. Problem solved. Your welcome.
-
Is she a hoarder?
-
How big are her tits?
-
Do you get sex by throwing shit out? No. Well then, dont f@cking do it. Hope this advice helped
-
Let her win. Have sex. You win. Everyone wins

I can understand where both of you are coming from. I hate to have a cluttered house so I know how you feel. You two need to find a compromise. Box some of the stuff up and store it or something.
