Like many others on this thread, I just want to know what this "mysterious project is". It sounds too big to be a map pack. Halo 4? Probably not, Halo 3 hasn't even been around for a year. Perhaps it is a campaign expansion that will solve many unanswerd questions of the Halo universe. Also, remember Bungie announcing a possible comeback of the Marathon series? It will be nice to get this horrific burden off of my shoulders once this mystery is solved. [Edited on 07.19.2008 9:56 AM PDT]

Let's say the announcement goes on, Sony and Nintendo are blown out of the water. The Bungie follow-up conference follows, showing the masterpiece that they have only just revealed to the world. Then comes Friday, and with it one of [i]the[/i] best damn Weekly Updates ever on Bungie.net. So much text, that they need to add an entirely new page for the article. All of us are extremely auspicious after reading it, and can't ask for more. My point is, it is NOT Bungie's fault that this update is so concise. They didn't cancel the announcement which lead to this. Stop giving the employees of Bungie Studios crap. They do not deserve it. Let me re-phrase that, we don't deserve them. They have sweat, bled, and possibly even urinated a little bit to prepare all of this. We the fans have waited months for this, how hard would it be to wait another month at minimum? I love it how you guys can GIVE an update, without REALLY giving an update. Truelly amazing. I can only HOPE to achieve the amount of sheer brilliance that you guys put into it. Haha but Im still really pumped for whatever Bungie has goign on, whether it be a game, movie, or machima. Im still pumped.

Bungie I can't say this enough You guys are awsome and -BLAM- time constraints. Microsoft was to eager to show off there new pet *cough*CliffyB. Sorry I had a locust in my throat. Any way, I'm mad that they didn't even let, what most likely would have drawn everyones attension away from everything living for 60 seconds, come into the light. X08 or sooner would be nice. Can't wait.

SPOILER ALERT: Bungie's new project will have dialog! ZOMG! I like how Bungie communicates with their community. Of course, the sarcasm, thinly veiled metaphors, and teasing get old, but better that than silence.

I can't wait to see what you have in store for us. Take all the time you need to bring what sounded like a very exciting announcement exciting again (Sorry to hear about your publisher pulling the plug). I'm willing to wait. Anyone with half a brain will realize the kind of crap you're having to dredge through while making games for fans who claim that "BUNGIE PEOPLE JUST WANT YOUR MONIES" and yet, they end up eating their own words the moment you release your latest work. Good update guys. :)
