I always have played control plainly because I felt that the other game modes were too easy. This assumption wasn't exactly based on first hand experience, rather it was based on people almost always having higher k/d ratios in Clash, Salvage, Rumble and Skirmish.
I decided to give these game modes their fair shot on my warlock to see if my assumptions warranted.
I can now say, with full confidence, that the game mode that presents the most challenge is Control, so those who run around with 2.0+ k/ds in those game modes and think they are exceptionally good at destiny, please test yourself in control first, as it will probably be a vastly different experience.

Play skirmish with that void clan, I put my sisters vagina on it that you leave and snap your disc
-
Rumble>>>
-
I'm not sure about that. With Control, one could crouch at a high traffic area and just rack up kills. Does that make them good?
-
Control is really easy, just get yourself a black hammer...
-
You only lose Control when you get shitty teammates. And fyi.....capping the points dont win you the game. Killing dies. So a person with good K/D is still a very volatile person in control. All games modes in this game require just killing to win...

Control is my favorite tbh
-
They are all pretty easy

Edited by RatedRPGesus: 2/10/2015 1:26:02 PMI play rumble so no one except me can drag me down

Edited by ReasonableRam: 2/10/2015 1:22:45 PMThe only reason for the higher kd is because on Control, people are more willing to put themselves out in the open to capture a point and this results in a lot more deaths. The other game types, except Salvage, you can just camp and worry about kills only. Definitely not an indication of difficulty. More strategy required? Sure.

Its just Clash with some objectives that help give you bonus points. Its actually one of the easiest gametypes to get kills because people can pick off others who head for the control points.
-
I can't speak to difficult, but it's definitely the most fun for me
-
Nah control is not harder. You always know where the enemy is going to be. Clash there all over the place get shot from the side alot

Here's what you do on destiny tracker. Check score per game on control and check k/d on control. That'll tell you everything you need to know. If they have a high spg and high k/d that means they play solo and do it with a good k/d. They have a high k/d but super low spg it means they pub stomp all day.
-
I kind of agree with you here but really, its only challenging when I go in solo queue and get matched against a premade team of 6.

I'll give you a bump. I am more impressed by rumble scores mostly, because you can't cheese rumble the way you can control. Control is the most fun in my opinion. But your stats are legit either way.
