I dunno, but I just don't want it to. It feels like it should be a console game and nothing more. It just feels that way to me.
Plus, if it does go to PC, the games for the consoles will feel completely inferior due to the things PC people will be able to do like modding *cough* Skyrim *cough cough*. I just don't want it to be 'that' type of game.
EDIT: Jimmies have been erternally rustled.

FUK YOU PC XBONE PISSSTATION THIS SHOULD COME ONLY TO THE WIIU AND THE SEGA 64 DONE NOW ALL GO HOME KIDS AND CRY WHOS YO MAMA NOW
-
It wont for one simple reason pc players have higher standards and with the current businesmodel and zero patches and lack of content none would invest in it.
-
If it did come to PC and If Bungie allowed moding, the moders would have turned it into a game it should have been from the beginning, and things would have been patched in days instead of months, there would have been more weapon and armor verity. But it would be hard to keep things balanced that way, so it should just stay on consoles.
-
It will go to widows 10 AKA Xbone the computer.
-
It won't. Bungie hasn't made a PC game in a decade :P
-
The regret man this game now needs mods

PC will get destiny one after console gets destiny 3 :D
-
Even if it did come to PC, Bungie wouldn't allow the community to mod the game (because of its complex online infrastructure).
-
If it wasn't for fallout 3 PC mods, the ideas for awesome features on fallout new vegas wouldn't be there. Just think about that example for a little bit...
-
Guys, I got some news. On game stops website, it says you can pre order for PC........yay.......
-
ITT: eternal butthurt console peasants.

Edited by xTharusx: 5/6/2014 9:37:21 PMDestiny 2 should go to the PC Destiny 1 should stay where it is Don't waste development resources on releasing a PC port a year later instead just grow and expand the game you already have. Improve the experience of every user who owns the game already. It should be much easier to include PC version in the next game now that the game engine is done. If the next game cuts the PS3/360 out of the equation you could throw those development resources completely onto the PC team.

I would like it to be on PC since then I could remote in while at work to my PC at home and attempt to do simple things in the game during the downtime I have during a lot of my projects during work at night. Now it is harder to stop people from cheating in many games that involve PC games and modding will add many things that I am sure consoles will not approve of since it takes forever for them to get mods. Also along with the time it would take time to port it over even if consoles and PC's are getting closer. It would still add a wait time for the game I would not like to see for the many players who per-ordered.
-
I agree 100%. The last console I owned was a Game Cube. Been a pc'er since Diablo 2, and got a PS4 only to play Destiny on it. Definitely should stay away from pc's it would just ruin the game with mods and cheats

http://www.gamestop.com/gs/weeklyad/current/ Do you see the words under the destiny pre-order. let the rage begin :)

Came back here to point and laugh at PC elitists... In all actuality though, I could care less if the game came to PC. PC gamers will rant and cry until they get what they want anyway, so just give it to them already. I'm tired of hearing about it.
-
As a PC gamer, I'm getting it on PS4 regardless, due to friends and so on. But just going through these comments.....this community is so....aggressive, as well as either drowning in denial or dying from starvation of knowledge. You guys gotta chill some, it probably won't come to PC, but even if it does, who cares? It won't affect your gaming experience. *sips tea*

Yeah PC players are stuck up as is
-
Destiny is irreverent to a pc gamer. We have a space sim first person shooter coming
-
Something for everyone to consider in the discussion going on below. Saying "No Destiny for PC" or spiteful comments along those lines down nothing but piss people off. While the PC elitists are no better, it does not justify other doing the same. However on the matter it is difficult to properly port a game and with multiplayer especially Bungie would have to completely rebalance the game. When we compare the mouse to the controller they function on very different levels producing very different gameplay. So at the expense of a lot of time and money it is probably a better idea to go either console or PC only with shooters, including Destiny. Also I believe that Bungie is very much a console developer so they most likely feel more at home on console. Everyone needs to stop being elitists or a fan boy about things. Why don't we actually act mature and focus on convincing society that we are not the group of idiots they think we are because of the fan boys and elitists.

Liked. No Destiny for PC ever =)

I agree bungie should make console only games. Destiny doesnt need mods. It awesome enough

Edited by Ghost593835: 5/7/2014 4:26:44 PMSkyrim gave pc gamers the development tools. Also the bungie is making the game on pc for console.

Edited by Firehawk991: 5/7/2014 2:54:14 PMSo, Skyrim turned beautiful because of mods. But you don't want that? Okay fine, that's a reason for you not to use mods or play it on console. But what about the people that like mods? Aren't they allowed to enjoy this game? Because they have a PC. Something everyone has in the modern world! I think Destiny should've been the game to embrace all platforms and begin the Cross-Platform-Play generation. But hey nobody cares about other people right.
idealist or realist. Who knows?
you guys have issue. first of all Destiny is a FPS multi player online game, which means there's no offline mode, so in turn no mods what so ever. the only thing pc will have over console are stability issue, hackers, and a more beautiful game and that is it. the fact that you guys are insecure of your console shows that you need social help. and think from their stand point, there's 11million next gen console out there, not to mention, the 170million last gen console out there, why would you eventually not make a pc port, which btw will be easy as its being made on a...wait for it...PC.
