Bungie Weekly Update: 7/20/07
Calming down the Interwebs freak-out, changes to a nouveau classique weapon from the Halo sandbox and potentially good news for hardcore Halo fans.

A separate motor for each wheel. Good reliability that way.

Heh, its funny because of this News update everyone is running around saying that there will be NO online-coop and refusing to read the story as a whole which clearly states that Bungie is unsure whether or not it will be shipped with the game. This means it MIGHT still be in the game. Too bad I didn't read up on this sooner. I would have loved to submit an email to the fan contest. I would have just put that I'm the biggest Halo fan because we let Bungie win in our [url=http://www.bungie.net/News/content.aspx?type=topnews&link=skinofourteeth]Humpday Challenge[/url] (j/k guys.) :P Seriously, though good luck to all who entered. I'm sure Bungie has something awesome in store for the winner.

Remember when Weebls-stuff joked about the warthog? They went to Bungie studios and did a review for something. They joked about there being an an actual sized warthog sitting in the carpark!!! Awesome! Just imagine, the younger gamers of 10 years ago are now either in their late teens on their 20s. The younger gamers of Halo 3 have 10 years before they can drive! Perhaps Bungie needs to call Epic Games and ask them exactly how they got the online coop to work. Or perhaps the Ubisoft who did GRAW2. They all got it to work pretty nicely with lots of players. They were just lacking the halo aspect which is far superior. As for the halo edition xbox...I don't see why people should buy this if it only comes with a 20gb hard drive. If it had a bigger hdd then I might be interested. Otherwise bring on the elites.

Second, don't jump to conclusions. Third, visit an eye doctor or get a better monitor. Let me break it down for you: 1. "with a working gun" or "with a working gun that can shoot bullets and can kill actors" - Only an idiot would assume the second one. This is for a movie and I don't think its good for the budget if your actors are getting shot. By "a working gun" they most likely mean a movie gun where it looks like it shoots but in reality its shooting blanks. 2. I'm not sure how strong "fibre glass over a chassis" really is. However, the car has an air bag and is supposedly off road. 3. I wouldn't mind seeing a front view shot but if this is CG then all they have to do is rotate the camera or the model. It looks real to me. Also, the angle is nowhere perfect 2D. Last but not least... the internet is the main source of information these days. Considering the internet is made up of millions of sources... you need to be more specific in what you say. :-p We'll see in a couple of weeks if its real or not. Hopefully it is real, I'm not skeptic about this. You are entitled to your opinion but no need to be an @ss.

i don't recall Bungie saying it did not know if they were going to have on-line Co-op. they said they just did not know if it was shipping with the game or not. it seems like they will just put it as an update when they are done with it. i love the warthog but like Lamborghini Gallardo's better.

How can we send questions to the weta guys.... Does that hog have 4 wheeled independent suspension? If it does how did they do it? Ive been trying to figure that out for a long time and would love to know...

if bungie doesnt make it now eventually i think they will. just like how they made the halo 2 specal edition map pack. they could make the same for 3 and add the co-op or since its xbox live they could install it earlier. either way i am almost positive it will happen

um yes...about the online co-op campaign. these fellow fans have been saying that GoW has no difference in single or co-op campaign off/online. yes this is true, but Gears runs off of unreal engine. But can't the players just run off the host's already downloaded data for the map? isn't that how it works for line multiplayer regardless of map size, and data? I mean I've seen many games with online co-op campaign and there have been no flaws in detail from what I've seen. i'm confused, just do your job bungie, you'll figure something out. I think you could buy a warthog if you wanted 2, yes you would have 2 find a place that makes custom cars and yeah it would cost an arm and a leg. plus it would have 2 be approved as street legal. But yeah i guess it's possible

Will the wired Halo 3 headset be availible separatly? I'd like a Halo 3 headset to go along with the Halo 2 one but I really don't want to deal with the wireless one. I've used 'em and I preferr the wired kind.
