So as of next year I'm off to uni... not only that but my parents and 2 younger brothers are off to Sydney, a completely different state... oh, and my older bro is moving in with his girlfriend. So I find myself with a predicament...
Next year I'm alone... Nobody to cook for me, clean the house, wash my stuff, etc. I need to learn all of this. AND for the first month or so I don't even have my licence!!!
Only barely turned 17 and I'll be on my own living in my own "bachelor pad" as my friends have decided to name my house.
Tristan ;-)
Posted by: Sketch_
Posted by: Gaara of Sand But are you really considering coming to Australia just for the opportunity to sit on my couch?
If I can come to Australia and stay for free on your couch, I would do it, I've always wanted to visit Australia
I've done Australia. It's a really attractive country. Well, the east coast is, I wouldn't know about the rest. I went with a student ambassador program and we spent three weeks going from Cairns to Sydney. By the way, Gaara, where in Australia do you live? Are you anywhere close to Regienko? -Baerdog7

Get ur licence, do the picture thing it is a very good idea just in case things get really screwed up. Ramen, Summer Sausage, Whiped Cream, Cheese= good eatin's! If you can grill, makes things even better, if not, you have a year to learn. You need these too: windex, duct tape, Saran Wrap

Cooking- Top Ramen Cleaning- Air freshener Washing- same Liscense- ouch If you live near a Costco you're set. If not, good luck! Well, washing your clothes won't be too hard. As long as you remember. And Top Ramen satisfies, what, 5 of the food groups?

How do you get income? Do you have a job?

We (the Bungie community) could become a hostel network for gamers.
It may mean something like that... but not for some members of the community *cough halo movie thread cough*. My friends have decided it will be party at my house every weekend too. But are you really considering coming to Australia just for the opportunity to sit on my couch? Tristan ;-)
Not anymore, my wife wouldn't appreciate the "thriftiness". But back when I was single and could travel light? Sure, I would have considered a trip. Knowing that you had friends waiting for you and a spot to sleep would have made such an excursion attractive.
