I don't know if you really count a single artist as a "band" or not, but Busdriver is my personal favorite. He does mostly rap/Hip hop, but some of his songs dip into different genres, and some of them I don't think you could really call a song at all. If you ever played Tony Hawk's Underground with the original soundtrack on, you have probably heard one of his songs before.
-
Imagine Dragons, at the moment.
-
Currently, I'm loving a few different bands and a lot. As I Lay Dying, For Today, Impending Doom, Signal The Firing Squad, and Lamb Of God. They may not seem very different from the titles, but mother of God are they.
-
RED, Breaking Benjamin, and Thousand Foot Krutch.
-
I like loads, but lately Two door cinema club has had a nice place in my ears.
Posted by: catman6 If you'd call her a band, Lindsey Stirling
You always beat me to mentioning her in threads... :D Edit: Supposing she doesn't count as she is a soloist rather than a band, I'm torn between "Coheed and Cambria" and "The National." Both have vastly different styles, so I can't make a decision. [Edited on 01.03.2013 10:54 PM PST]

Our Lady Peace I think. Though they have their fair share of not-so-good songs.
Posted by: Decimator Omega I see. I was hoping they would be, lol. I need new music to listen to anyways.
Posted by: xl OC Girl lx Goo Goo Dolls forever and ever and ever

That's because they're not.

Lol.. I didn't think we were only posting metal bands. I'm just obsessed with this band for some reason. They've been my favorite band since I was 8 years old :/

Metallica. Megadeth and Iron Maiden are close seconds.

I'll list just a few since I have several favorites. A few of mine are Metallica, Korn, Dire Straits, Phil Collins, Huey Lewis, and Robert Palmer. [Edited on 01.03.2013 10:40 PM PST]
