How many active users remain in the Bungie Community?
In your opinion is the Bungie Community still as active as used to be or has it went downhill slightly with 343 managing the Halo Universe from now on? I still think it has some life in it yet, minus some dramas and trolling in parts of the forums.
Do you think it will become insanely busy again once the next project is announced?

Obviously it's gone down in activity, Bungie is inbetween games. It should pick up when they announce something.

I'm a CE fan for life. But recently, I've taken a liking to the Flood (mostly because it's a better place to rant about Halo 4). I've been banned from Waypoint at least 5 times for discussing modding. I do not feel bad because look at what they doing for Halol 4 Custom Games and Forge. [Edited on 01.03.2013 10:49 AM PST]

I want to say that loads of people lurk a lot (including me) but you can pretty much bet that when Destiny is formally announced and stuff then there'll bean influx of members.

I don't know anyone who switched over to Waypoint just because 343 is now in control of the Halo universe. If anything it's gone down because there's not a lot to talk about.

To make activity sky-rocket they need to do another "screw" thing in Destiny. You know in Halo 3, everyone wanted the screw next to their name so they came here. Sure most of the accounts signed on once, got the screw and left, but look how many stayed. That is how I found this place! I remember the myths surrounding the screw in the early H3 days... I remember a couple of squeakers asking me for recon because the thought the screw meant I was an employee!

I've seen a few other forums notice interest in Destiny, it makes sense a few will trickle back here before popularity inevitably blows up on announcements and trailers and such. It's still fairly active around here, lots of groups took a hit though. [Edited on 01.02.2013 3:20 PM PST]

Well...we are in the darkness, and there's still plenty of activity. Mostly thanks to The Flood, but I'm sure we'll see a lot more activity when Destiny is revealed.

I'm not sure.. Not as many as there formally was. I noticed activity picking up as well. Maybe, new users are coming because there wondering about bungie's new Franchise.

I'm sure the trickle we see now will become a tsunami when the floodgates are opened upon Destiny's accouncement and release.

It will probably pick up when Bungie starts releasing information. The site will definitely increase in activity when Destiny is released, though.

The transition out of the Halo franchise did negatively affect the forums in terms of activity, but I'm sure that they will become insanely active once Destiny is announced. Remember, OP, a lot of the community is currently inactive due to the lack of anything new being posted to Bnet. [Edited on 01.02.2013 11:47 AM PST]

All of the active members remain in the community. Inactive members still remain. They are just inactive. ~Delta
