Metal Gear Solid HD collection?
I have never played a MGS game.
Just bought this collection.
Chronologically, which one comes first?

The chronological order of the series: Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater Metal Gear Solid: Portable Ops Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker Metal Gear Metal Gear 2: Solid Snake Metal Gear Solid Metal Gear Solid 2: Sons of Liberty Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots ------------------ I wouldn't recommend playing them in that order though. Play them in the order that they were released. So: Metal Gear (Not really necessary) Metal Gear 2 (The first true Metal Gear game, but you really have to want to play it) Metal Gear Solid Metal Gear Solid 2 Metal Gear Solid 3 MGS: Portable Ops (It really isn't referred to in Peace Walker, so you can skip this one) Metal Gear Solid 4 MGS: Peace Walker [Edited on 12.13.2012 5:34 PM PST]

Play MGS1 first.

Well, MGS3 and Peace Walker are first chronologically, but you should play MGS2 first, but before that, you should get a PSOne or PS2 and play the first MGS. [Edited on 12.13.2012 5:25 PM PST]
