Meet a User Researcher who wants to pick your brain...
This week, [url=http://www.bungie.net/News/Blog.aspx?mode=news#cid32234]Jennifer Ash[/url] is breaking in.
And, thank you in advance for my not having to worry about your ability to behave like gentlemen in the presence of a lady.

Pretty much all professional jobs follow this pattern. I see a lot of folks thinking they are going to get a fancy degree and magically they are working for Bungie. (or equivalent dream job) The real fact of the matter is people want experienced, passionate professionals that can prove they won't let you down even before you started working for them. Unpaid internships are sometimes necessary, enroll in one while still attending college get basic experience. By competitive they really mean it is a competition. When you graduate and are accepting your diploma, look around you are witnessing the birth of new competitors. I hope I didn't stray too far off topic. But I really found this to be true by my own personal experience.
