Most idiotic reason for getting in trouble at school?
Mine was for blowing my nose when I was sick. To this day I don't know why this happened.

One lesson we were using CorelDRAW. The bar with the tools on it, instead of bein in it's default place at the left, was at the top. The teacher moaned at me for this, one particular comment was "It's disgusting!". [Edited on 12.12.2012 12:53 PM PST]

Wow our school system is terrible. Might as well put in my two-cents. One day on the bus some kid came up to me and started to sit on me. I have Osgood Schlatter's disease, which means my knee is very weak. I asked him to stop several times, (he pressed down harder) and could actually feel my tendon beginning to tear, when I hit him in the back of the head. He flipped out, started whaling on me and cussing me out for this, calling me all sorts of things like 'horrible person' and 'menace.' I couldn't walk properly for a few days. Guess who got in trouble?

I got shouted at in front of the whole class because the teacher decided to block off my desk with some other desks, and when I said to her I couldn't get to my desk she decided to 'make an example' of me to the whole class. Crazy -blam!-

This happened to my friend. We're in our house-assembly, when a teacher just decides to walk up the middle isle, totally distracting from the assembly. She walked up to my friend and said "STAND UP RIGHT NOW. YOU KNOW WHAT YOU'VE DONE. YOU'RE IN SERIOUS TROUBLE!" He had to stand up by himself in a room of a 100 or so people for the next 20 minutes. Of course it later turned out she had the wrong person all along. Silly teacher.

My school wins in ridiculousness: this year a boy in middle school made a memes page related to the school. It was very funny but eventually he was expelled by the school and anyone who liked or commented on a meme was forced to apoligise to the school and sit through an assembly about it. Since I was at the end of year 12 the teachers cared little about what we did, it was mostly those in middle school who copped all the crap. This is made even more suprising however because two years ago, another student in year 12 hacked twitter. It was that virus that spread worldwide, causing all people that so much as hovered their mouse over a link to get sent to a pronz website. For him, no punishment was given.

Drawing an easter egg and easter bunny scene. During easter. When my drawing was ripped up by my teacher, I stood up and glared at her for the longest time, with tears in my eyes. It was awesome.

During the end of my 8th grade year my English teacher was crazy, really really crazy. And one day my pen breaks open spilling ink all over the desk, I tried to clean it up the best I could before the next class started. I thought I did a good enough job at cleaning up the mess. Apparently I didn't. The next day I get called to the Principals office over the incident and get blamed for graffiti because some one wrote "I was here" on my desk. I tried to tell the Principle I didn't write that and that my pen accidentally broke open, but she didn't believe me. I end up getting punished to Sunday school and when I told my mom, my mom decided to call the school up and say I didn't deserve it and such and has a talk with my teacher. The call didn't work. I went in on Sunday and spent the whole day cleaning up the school, but to make things even worse the day after during my English class the teacher gives the class an assignment. The assignment was about "How you shouldn't make messes and lie about it." I hated that teacher.

Standing near a door during lunch. It wasn't even an emergency exit or anything, it was just a door. Got a weeks worth of detention.

In 7th grade, my Sweater was taken away from me because it wasn't the exact shade of Blue that the uniform called for (it was slightly darker).

After school detention for trying to retrieve something taken from me in class. Teacher wouldn't even let me explain what I was doing.

I was sent to the principal's office in 5th grade when a girl bit my hand. Hard. Why? She wanted my baseball mitt. They made me write down what I could've done to avoid the problem next time around. Don't remember what I wrote, but I was being a smartass, I remember that much. Something like "say ow sooner."

Drawing so badly in art class that teacher said that i'm not even trying and that i have an attitude problem. Not my fault that my drawings looks like a retarded 10 year old kid made them.

In grade 7 there was a new kid who has been there one day before missing two weeks with some illness. The teacher said "Tim will be back tomorrow so everybody welcome him back" I said "who's Tim"? I had never even spoken a word to this kid. Got sent to the office and proceeded to get sent home on a two day suspension for disturbing the class. Now that I think about it that was the moment I pretty much gave up on the school system.
