So here are a few things I put on my wishlist for Bungie.next. I'm sure a lot of you will like these Ideas.
1. Change the website colors/colours - I was thinking a the main website could be white with a blue header.
2. A Friends list, I think we should be able to have friends here on Bungie.net
3. a type of blog type thing where we can post what we are doing and are friends can look at it.
4. To make it easier to view these mini blogs by our friends we should have a "Information Feed" which shows the mini blogs of our friends
5. A chat system for our friends, like being able to quickly chat with friends who are on. Maybe even have some messages be sent to their phones using the Bungie App
6. posting pics, just for us and our friends to see.
7. a like button, not for the forums.. but so we can like the mini blog things that our friends post
8. also a share button for the mini blog things
9. We should have apps on this website, where we can play little games while we are chatting with friends
10. We should be able to make not only groups but pages that people could like.
Anyways, I think these would be great improvements to the website and I would best most of you would agree.
Posted by: Bricypoo No but doing so could make possible great friendship never happen. People just view it as a ignore button where you just ignore members you don't like but pushing the button could have a down fall. Like what if the member you ignored would become one of your best friends? YOu would meet him at Pax and at pax you were attacked. But he was there to save your life, if you had ignored him he wouldn't have been there. You would have been screwed. Though, it is a completely ridiculous example it does show one of the many possible out comes of negative repercussions.
Posted by: chubbz
Posted by: Bricypoo Actually it shows how completely pointless the ignore feature would be. Because it would make it so new members/members who you don't have the same opinions with would just get ignored. By new members I mean ones who start off kind of immature but as time goes they become more mature on the website. It would put them on a disadvantage that most other members never had to go through.
Posted by: AdamP118 Ignore feature. Sure would be handy right about now...

That's their own problem, not mine. And they wouldn't be universally ignored, there's alot of people on this site.

lol wtf are you talking about that is an insane example that is completley not relevent to anytihng that anyone would ever do ever

1. Friends list. 2. Friends feed of their most recent posts in one page. 3. Groups friend is part of on their feed. If part of the same group then the feed adds private group posts to recent feeds in a different section or highlight. 4. Maybe image embedding, set size/filters as appropriate. 5. Content tagging for search reasons, similar to fileshare tagging but for threads too. 6. Locked threads to go to the back of threads. 7. Members can rate a thread or post so they appear higher or auto sticky etc.

I'll still use the hell out of that feature if it gets implemented.

To be honest, I'm just happy that they'd put in the effort to update the site at all. Though if it does become Facebook 2.0 frowns and disappointment shall surely follow...

Serious note: The big thing many of you are missing is that having a general 'main' private group or a couple that you frequent, IS your FL, and chat window. If you are not using B.net this way now, you're doing it wrong.

Since we are it, Id like an option for a Bungie employee to come scratch my back button.

I guess it would be nice to be able to interact with the community more, but I don't really care for turning Bnet into a website such as Facebook. I wouldn't mind having a friends list as well as a chat feature for that friends list, though. [Edited on 11.20.2012 8:23 AM PST]
