So, Anyone pick up a WiiU?

So, Pretty much the only reason I don't own one is because preorders sold out, like, in 12 hours where I live...
Anyone manage to get one? What games did you pick up?
I hope to get a Deluxe edition with New Super Mario Bros U, ZombiU, Sonic All-Star Racing, Rayman, and Aliens Colonial Marines when that comes out.

There are some ridiculous asking prices like $2000 on eBay but people are starting to undercut that at the $500 mark. The Wii U doesn't seem to be the hot next generation -blam!- we all need in our veins nor has it caught on fire yet. Getting a Wii to play Zelda in 2006 wasn't too hard. Only when those people started bringing their friends and family over for Wii Sports did everyone want one and you could get a fat resale price. [Edited on 11.19.2012 5:31 PM PST]

Girlfriend just walked in the door with one. She won the deluxe version at work but they haven't been able to find one so she went to Target and got one and they're gonna pay her back. Good thing cause I wouldn't pay for one but my daughter will love it. Target had them in stock like it was no big deal. Haven't played it yet cause I'm too busy playing Halo 4.

As much as I love buying things that are already obsolete and will be incredibly, anciently obsolete in just a year, I learned my lesson with the Wii. I think I'm going to hold off entirely this time. [Edited on 11.19.2012 5:26 PM PST]

i was thinking about doing it but decided it's not worth it. i'll just wait for people to sell cheap wiis because mine doesn't play discs... i only use it for emulators and netflix now lmao

However, ZombiU has a lot of mixed reviews and Pikmin 3 got delayed. I'm not sure if I want the console now or if I should wait until Zelda or Smash Bros comes out. I will wait until the deluxe is in stock after a few months like during the spring or summer of next year. I wanted one for christmas , but the deluxe edition sold out quickly and won't be in stock for awhile anyways.

I'm waiting for some new games before i decide. i'm perfectly satisfied with my modded wii that can play most video game emulators.
