• For the advanced users I recommend Comodo Internet Security it's a all in one anti vitus tool with everything needed except powerful scanning tools with like rootkit and malware detection rates. It will block anything that tries to do something fishy with the computer unless you want the program to allow it. And if speed is no concern then I think you pplz should try it.

 • Sometimes, toolbars in Chrome are considered Extensions and are put in that section of the Tools option. Try checking if that's the case, and if it is, you can just delete it.

From there uninstall from the control panel. For Funmoods, just do what I said last time and once it's uninstalled, edit your browser settings to fix your default search engine and your homepage. It's not actually on your computer, it just makes your browser's homepage the Funmoods site and makes your browser search with the Funmoods search engine. Microsoft Security Essentials will not catch Funmoods or Babylon because it sucks at anything other than remedial security. [Edited on 10.11.2012 12:30 AM PDT]

 • Try using the free version of Avast! The non-licensed version should catch and remove any rootkits or viruses you have. If you want to be absolutely certain you get everything, run a boot-time scan with a high sensitivity. That'll catch any viruses that hide from antivirus software by looking for them before Windows is running. And come on guys, stop bashing the OP for posting a link to the malware site and going on about a Bungie employee being on the flood. We have better things to do like actually being on topic, right? • Wow, a Bungie employee posts and only 37 replies? I'm impressed. Anyways, browser hijacking is probably just a run of the mill virus, and MSE, Malwarebytes, or maybe even Spybot could remove. It could be indicative of something worse, but the chances are slim. If it's a rootkit, you'll probably need to get a rootkit remover.

 • i have an old tactic for exes that you cant get rid of. simply remove them from the boot process. however as you're talking about a browser related thing it may not be related.
