If Halo 4 has a great ranking system.....
along with even starts (Halo 3 and Halo 2)for those playlist that use the Ranking system, Halo 4 will be the most populated game of all time.
Halo 3 had a great 1-50 system, but Social Slayer was boring after you played a lot of games, because there wasn't many unlocks.
Now if Halo 4 has a great ranking system that is around 1-50's level, it also has a great casual system (Initial System + 8 other systems in which you get a ton of other unlocks that will drive casual minds crazy in joy)
Also, add that to Spartan Ops for the campaign lovers, and you get a very populated game. 5 NEW missions a week + Awesome Unlocks and Specialized Branches + Set loadouts for ranked playlist for a great Ranking System = Success for everyone

Did you not see that tweet a few days ago saying that the ranking system was invisible? It might not have been a tweet, but I remember people were complaining about it.

I have strong feeling 343i will introduce a very effective ranking system that will be much better than 1-50. This is Microsoft we are talking a out here, they did say they were looking at games like Starcraft II as influences.

I think that's what we can all hope for is a good, well balanced ranking system. But I know for a fact, even if it is the best one to be done so far, there will still be people who will complain about it and let their nostalgia goggles cloud their mind of the previous ranking systems.

NO DONT MAKE A RANKING SYSTEM, THEN THE BAD PLAYERS MIGHT HAVE TO FACE THE GOOD PLAYERS WHO DERANK. I have a brilliant idea, lets just make the bad players face the good players without them having to derank!

Not sure why people are still clinging to the hope of 1-50s return. You're only setting yourself up for a fall. If 343 intended on bringing it back I doubt they would keep it under wraps for as long as they have.
