Port Forwarding Doesn't Open My NAT

I already knew I would have to port forward my "router", but upon doing so I'm still told I have a closed NAT. I've forwarded ports: 80 88 3074 53 and even 1863 which I found on a large list on a port forwarding website. I've been looking through countless guides and the only remaining possible solution to my problem would be to create a DMZ for my 360 but there's no firmware update for my strange router, and it doesn't have a DMZ or UPnP or anything like them. In fact the menu doesn't say "Port Forwarding" it says "Port Mapping" and then another option of "IP/Port Filtering" which I haven't touched. I've set my computer and xbox to a static IP, I've reset the router plenty of times, yet nothing works. It's not just xbox telling me either, I try to play Reach and it gives me the same message, then in game it shows I've got good connection (full green bar) yet I have a constant lag going on. I'm kind of lost on what I can do now, I've tried just about everything I can find.
