special Bungie Day
hello every one...
it is 21 days until the next Bungie day and i think this one is going to be special. The reason for that is that it works both ways...

Bungies 21st is also special because, even though there is a big gap between me and them we will finally be able to go out drinking together (21 legal), heck maybe catch an R rated movie with out fake IDs, or go clubing but the real question i have to the community is... what are you giving back to Bungie this year since it's both ways this time around ? do you even have anything planned ?
i personally have something of enourmous proportions but i'm not sure how i'm going to deliver it. It's something classic, something that in a way started it all (for me) and unless they decide to share it with you (the community), you unfortunatelly will not see it.

it's kinda sad that some of you here feel Bungie didn't do anything for us last year or that they didn't do enough, in my opinion they kept up with their tradition and gave back to the community. to stay on topic, i see some of you will be busy or have other plans, which is fine, you gotta do what you gotta do, there will be other years and as long as you enjoy yourself it'll be fine ;) on my front, the special delivery is on it's way (kinda excited), and it's kinda unfortunate that i'm the only one giving back, maybe i'm just seeing this wrong, maybe some of you are giving back by getting together as a community, anyway... Bungie, let me know how you like it (if at all)

Bungie Day is always a pleasant surprise every year. Unfortunately I'm going to be too busy to take advantage of it this year, but its a nice tradition nonetheless.

Bungie day is going to be EPIC! I hear they are going to televise people boarding a sling shot pouch and being launched into the sun to stop a super solar flare from impacting the earth and pounding us to the dark ages. Bungie will then be called savior of the earth and start the beginning of the Bungie new world order. The BNWO will then save us from another financial crises and teach us how to knit with spaghetti.

Besides the description of the star nameplate is "be a star" in bungie's eyes we were on 7/7 all stars...so, yeah. A little Off-topic :(I remember one incident where this person in matchmaking was being a jurk saying bungie should take my star nameplate away, I responsed by saying bungie should take his life away.)

I'm positive everyone else would have been just fine with the bungie nameplate and blue flames. No one even uses the star nameplate. All it did for me was make it lose that exclusivity. And I worked HARD on my entry that won. To any employees/ninjas who are reading this, I would like to humbly ask you to mention in HFCS about the possibilty of BUNGIE including something in their next IP for us loyal fans who won to help us regain the feeling of exclusivity that we worked oh so hard to gain.

I remember finding out I won because I threw in Reach and my nameplate was a star. The results got released a little while later and my picture was there. Man was I phyched. I showed off my star in matchmaking for a while. Then I ound out they were giving it away to everyone. I too would like to share the sentiment, Thanks Urk. For giving me the star and taking away the specialty of it in 2 days flat.
