I hate you bungie.

first, you announce taking away stat updates. That angered me, but atleast i could understand. But why the Blam did yall screw up our nameplates? Why cant we change them? Whats the point in having a selection if you cant use it? Bungie, you're all a bunch of sell outs. Have been since halo 3. You stopped doing what you loved and simply started selling your souls to do as your told. I hope every project of theirs from here on out fails misserably, Anyone agree? •
Posted by: Diseased Moto
Posted by: burritosenior 343 Studios is responsible for statistics on their website. you don't seem to understand what happened mate. Bungie was owned by Microsoft. In 2007 (I believe it was), Bungie made a deal with Microsoft to gain their independence. They wanted to be their own company. That would mean Microsoft couldn't tell them what to do (being the opposite of 'sellouts,' by the way) and could not shut them down. They would be employee owned. However, since Bungie created Halo while owned by Microsoft, Microsoft owned Halo. Thus when they split, Microsoft kept Halo. Since Bungie was contracted to create two more Halo games (in the forms of ODST and Reach), they did so. After that, Bungie moved onto other projects and Microsoft created 343 Industries to manage the Halo universe. As of March 31st, 343 gained complete control of all things Halo. Statistics from the Halo games go to them now, therefore Bungie.net can't let you do things. How do you expect Bungie.net to let you change your nameplate if it can't even talk to the game anymore? Bungie left Microsoft so it could do what it loves and not what it is told, contrary to your post. In addition? I think it's incredibly childish of you to say you wish a company to fail because you can't change a nameplate. I mean... really, dude? Come on. That's petty.
This, OP. Listen to this guy.
Well that was a completely unnecessary bump. Why isn't this locked anyway?

 • No. Who cares about a tiny stupid logo at the very end of your bar in the lobby that you see for like 2 minutes? It really doesn't say much, if you want to moan to someone then moan to 343, they own it now.

 • It's not really Bungie's fault. Microsoft owns Halo and is no longer allowing Bungie to manage it's online services. If Bungie were still in control then they would no doubt leave these services available to us all. If you want to whine about it go here. • You are so stupid. They displayed for weeks that they were no longer going to support Halo and yet your hide did not notice that. Shame on you. I am a Bungie supporter and will be for as long as they push out games.
