Lets just say it was announced, with:
1) HD Overhaul with steady framerate
2) Achievements
3) Added loot
4) Included Yavin Station DLC
5) Quick swap between both games
6) Collectibles Such as a tin case etc
So lets say this was re-released for £30 / $40 or a similar amount. Would you get it?
-
Both of them for £30 or each for £30? If each then hell no, KOTOR 1 is £6.99 on steam.
-
Yes!! Of course i would it was a great game.
-
-
Why would you remake something that already runs at HD resolutions? Buy them on PC, which is where they belong.
-
1st game: Yes. 2nd game: If it includes all that cut content that got cut. I'm not going to rebuy half a game.
-
Hell yeah I would. If they would the missing missions and scenes from KOTOR 2 then I would preorder it too.
-
As long as they also updated the combat system.
-
Nope, I wouldn't pay full price for the same game I already own (with HD graphics). I like Halo, but even I regret buying Halo CEA. I don't need multiple copies of the same game. [Edited on 05.14.2012 2:04 PM PDT]

I'd buy the first one in an instant, hell yeah.
-
If they included the restoration packs for KOTOR II and such pleasant things, then yes.
-
I already bought it once, why would I do it again?
-
Those were the only games i played before I got a 360. A remake would be awesome.
-
Posted by: curryphantom 4) Included Yavin Station DLC
Is this actually a thing?
-
Absolutely I would buy it. KOTOR is one of my all time favorities.
-
Heck yeah. I lost my Xbox copy of KOTOR 1 and can't find a decent priced KOTOR 2 copy out there on the Xbox...(I would prefer to not play them on PC).
-
Well......yes. KotOR was probaly the best Star Wars game.
-
No I have the original 4 CD edition and it's great.

Only if they had Obsidian finish the second game. Otherwise, paying $40 for updated graphics and achievables doesn't really sound worth it. [Edited on 05.14.2012 1:56 PM PDT]

Perhaps if the price was reasonable. I've already got too many games on my plate currently to devote any time to it though. I'd play for nostalgia sake only.

I like potatos.
