Scenario: undisclosed events have sent a shockwave through the video game industry, and several game developers are looking to pool their assets and merge to form a single studio.
What other game developer (pick one) would you want to see Bungie merge with, and why?

valve

Chickenlittle seems to hate Bungie. Why are you even here if you hate Bungie, chickenlittle?
Posted by: Domi 233
Posted by: chickenlittle EA, obviously. Bungie retconned the -blam!- out of the Halo franchise with Reach, included terrible story, and topped it off with a bad game overall, while EA changed the -blam!- out of the Tiberium universe, included a terrible story, required constant Internet connection for single player, and topped it off with a terrible game overall. It's a match made in heaven. The games could reach depths of hell not even Satan would dare venture to.

For all intents and purposes EA is a developer. They just make little spinoff companies or buy up whoever owns the IP they currently want.

If that were the case and they did partner up with Valve we would never see Destiny's release...
Posted by: Switchfoot4 Valve. By far.
I would have to say the Zenimax family. [Edited on 05.04.2012 6:53 AM PDT]
Posted by: Bulletproof2323 Naughty Dog It would be a powerhouse
How has no one before you said this? That was my first thought. I think of Naughty Dog as the Bungie of the Playstation world.

Game Freak. Lol. :3

Nintendo, so all the Xbox fanboys can cry.

Either Valve or Bethesda. The games would be epic.

I want to say irrational games, but i feel their views on what world should be made would conflict causing even bigger problems so I will say..... Naughty Dog It would be a powerhouse

It's hard to say, honestly. Most developers have a completely different style I don't think would meld well with Bungie's. If I had to pick one, I'd say i.d. It really depends on where they want to venture with their next game, though.

Valve, Bethesda and... Ubisoft.
-
Posted by: Switchfoot4 Valve. By far.
I was going to say that, but then all their titles would take forever to come out.
Posted by: killingfrenzy11 Bethesda. Fallout + Halo = My dream come true.
That would be true but Bethesda Softworks makes those Elder Scrolls games and Blizzard makes those other games. Go with Blizzard, the possibilities would be ridiculous. On a side note for the Valve references, they just confirmed they won't be showing anything new at E3 this year.

Since it has not happened, why don't we cross that bridge when it does, if ever. ~Delta
Posted by: Primo84 Scenario: undisclosed events have sent a shockwave through the video game industry, and several game developers are looking to pool their assets and merge to form a single studio.
