Halo 3 Bungie Gamebattles: Season 1 Roster Signup+Maps and Modes
Hey everyone!
The idea of running Gamebattles for Halo 3 over Bungie got a really good response, but we have a lot of things to work out first. This is a roster of all the players who signed up. If you're officially signing up, just leave the XBL account you'll be using. I'll put it next to your name so the members of each team can friend each other. I already know the main tags that some of you use, but I'll let you fill it in just in case. If for some reason I have you on the list and you can't participate, just let me know and I'll take it off. Sorry in advance. I'm sending out a PM to everyone who expressed interest.
Signups are going to close on Wednesday of this week at 11:59 P.M. EST. If we still need players to have enough for balanced teams, you can still enter until we do. Then season 1 is closed, and I'll figurre out teams sometime this week. If you're intersted in participating and we're full, leave me a post or PM and I'll make sure you get in for Season 2.
Edit: Actually, I'm fine if we can add a full team with each addition. I just don't want to only have 1 player and be forced to wait for 3 more. If you can run a full team (possibly 3 or 4) then PM with the tags.

Now we've got that out of the way, we all need to decide what game modes and settings we'd like to use. I'm going to say now that MLG settings are required. I don't remember what version of the MLG maps is currently in rotation, but we'll just be using the version that comes up in the playlist, unless anyone objects. Here's a list of maps and modes I was considering:
Construct: MLG Slayer and KOTH
The Pit: MLG CTF, Slayer and KOTH
Narrows: MLG CTF and Slayer
Amplified: MLG CTF and Slayer
Onslaught: MLG CTF and Slayer
Heretic: MLG CTF and SLayer
Guardian: MLG Oddball
So what does everyone want? Nothing is set in stone; we can even add or remove some weapons if we want. I just want to know what we're using, and I'll edit the post when we have everything officially set.
Finally, we need to figure how we're going to make the teams. Being a nerd, I thought I could just use D&D dice and randomly distribute players, which would at least be fair. I'm really not sure if that's best though. We'll set up times and who plays who later; this is mainly just a signup/discussion thread. So what does everyone think?

None of those should be too hard. @Colossal Dave: I have no familiarity with UK timezones. Are there more than one? All my friends from UK are 5 hours ahead of EST.
