Any secrets left Bungie? Poll link at bottom of first post.
Being as Bungie has turned all Halo related things to 343 and is now done with it, could you please tell us if there are any secrets or Easter eggs we missed in any of the Halo games, specifically Halo Reach, please.Comment so Bungie will check out this thread!

Hey guys, OP here. In the Mail Sack a Bungie employee said this in response to a question:

No. I cannot. And you, beloved community, must all stop asking. I am sorry. This revival of Easter egg hysteria is entirely my fault. In a previous Sack, I allowed the panel to tease you with mentions of Halo eggs that have yet to be found. You will never find them all. We cannot give you hints. If we did, those eggs would lose their magic. You simply must stop sending me private messages, and stop dropping these questions into the Sack. The strain of lugging around the extra weight of them just might break my back.

I know we can sometimes we can be annoying as a community, but Bungie should realize how much we love these games. Soon inevitably, not many people will be playing these older games. We're not asking for all the Eggs just the good ones. I can't help but feel all of us would feel that somethings missing, If the halo games faded away without us finding the awesome secrets. However, Bungie if you choose to ignore your loving and faithful community in this situation, I'd be sad but respect you nonetheless.

YodasCurd I know you said no more Easter egg hints, but this is important. I have dedicated countless hours to this, and I must know. Is there, or isn't there, another skull in halo 3 (The Assassin Skull) that is hidden somewhere.
A slippery slope, that is, Master. If I give you a hint, then someone else will want a hint, and then someone else will also want a hint. All Easter eggs are important. I am sticking to my guns on the new Zero Hint Doctrine. They are called Easter eggs because you have to go and find them. Or not.

Don't be like that Bungie, can't it be more of a Zero Hint Guideline or maybe only one hint per Mail Sack? Can't you see we're dying here?
TL;DR Please tell us some stuff we love the games. Please don't bombard Bungie with too much hate mail/questions. Forge will be in Halo 4(just check 343's site for latest info or on YouTube /Halo4Follower)Please stop the arguing it's tearing us apart. :'( Thanks to every for posting keep it up Let's make this popular!

Well the poll thread got locked, but Bungie giving hints received 39 votes and banding together to find egg came in second with 20 something.

there were a few in reach as well. It seems that as time went on bungie became better and better at hiding these things, but at the same time the easter eggs became less mysterious(halo 2 gates)

I just want to know what'd up with the hidden gates all over Halo 2 and 3.

the whole 1121 thing is digging into it a bit too deep that is taking it further than "l is real 2401". I'm sure there are other easter eggs, but I'm positive that they are right in front of us just like all of the other ones we have found.

Im not going to pretend and say I read the thread so take this as you will: It's entirely possibly Bungie is lying/ and or egging everyone on. Knowing how crazy their fanbase is, it is pretty amusing watching people go nuts over hidden eggs. Dev's have done it before. See the Pendant in dark souls [Edited on 12.16.2012 1:17 AM PST]

I remember finding a series of cool eastereggs.On sirrea 117 after me and a freind did the phantom glitch it messed up half way and led to some cool places.

Here's my thoughts: Patience my friends. If there are easter eggs left to discover, at some point in time Bungie will drop a hint and somebody will find it, and, if you no longer have the game, you can watch it on youtube or in your own personal holodeck. With Halo 2, I feel most of the big stuff has been found. People have run code in the game forwards and backwards looking for stuff. They even found the [url=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UmAR4CMu3zg]Flood Juggernauts[/url] that were cut from the game. I feel fairly confident all the big stuff has been found, but I could be wrong. There is still the [url=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dq2CGge7wNA&playnext=1&list=PLA932B09B1280F2DE&feature=results_video]Mystery Gate Button[/url]. With the other Halos, to be honest, I haven't kept up with it that much, but one of two things will happen: 1) Somebody through pure determination and a bit of luck will stumble on the mother of Halo secrets, will be heralded and made a demi-god by the community, be given access to Bungie swag for life, and have a section in a Cracked article mentioning their name for finding this insane easter egg. Now if that easter egg is out there, with all this glory and swag for the intrepid crusader, do you really want them to give you hint? Not I. Or 2) Nobody wants to die with a cool secret, unless the parties involved have entered a pact to never reveal said secret because of all the cool swag involved. But really, if such an easter egg exists and it's pretty clear no one is even close to finding it, Bungie will drop a hint, a very subtle or obscure hint. Even though they have handed over control of the Halo franchise, what's to keep them from dropping a hint in a future game? Therefore, be patient. All things past will probably be made known and new secrets will always lie before us. [Edited on 10.07.2012 5:03 PM PDT]
