I've been using it the past few days now and the results are fascinating! Finally, after all these years there's a way for everyone to have AA in their halo :D
1. WARNING, this is %100 NOT compatible with Xfire, overlay or not enabled, you will have to terminate the program before you use this. According to the website, it's compatible with the steam overlay but I haven't tested it.
2. In the config fire, put the quality to "ultra" :D
Enjoy!!
Posted by: SpaceCade7 Put all of the contents of the d3d9 folder into your Halo folder. Make sure you're not running XFire (or turn off the overlay, at least) or Fraps (not 100% sure if that will mess it up, but it did mess up MLAA). And finally, try it out and report back.
oh... I thought you just had to put the folder in there not take the contents out... I feel stupid.... [Edited on 01.15.2012 9:17 AM PST]

To be honest, I haven't noticed a difference. I put d3d9 (I assume that is the right one) in my installation folder right next to halo.exe I went into the "injector" file and changed this line:
preset = SMAA_PRESET_ULTRA
Is it just me or did I do something wrong?

SPV3's version of OS will come with FXAA. FXAA is faster than SMAA but doesn't look as good. Also, SMAA works with OS, just rename the SMAA .dll file to d3d9_proxy.dll (that's how I run it with the latest public OS version, I can't play at 70 FOV to save my life)

What I thought of immediately when seeing the thread title I actually do like this a lot. I've used it a few times, but for some reason it seems to want to conflict with Xfire. (So does Open Sauce/ENB though)
Posted by: Tempus Irae It's nice, but when CMT SPV3 is released the version of OpenSauce it comes with will be much better.
Hoping he fixes the -vidmode incompatibility with Radeon cards somehow. Sure I have some post processing, but is that worth giving up my 1920x1080 resolution? If not then I'm stuck playing in windowed mode. :/
