Summer Projects
Are you doing anything cool?
I've been modding my bike, it's so cool now. Gears are higher so I can go faster, I put new pedals with clips on, a girl seat (finally) and I've gotten a couple new accessories (shoes w/ cleats, rack mounting backpack etc). It's awesome. My commute is going to be an hour each direction this fall, so I'm happy that I've made the changes.
I'm also helping my landlady clean out our basement, but that's not as cool. My chemistry class is over after next week, and I might need a new project. What have you guys got going on?

Well, most of my summer is dedicated to summer classes, 3 hours per class...fun fun fun there. When I am not in class, I am usually working as the Coordinator of [url=http://www.lords.gamessite.net]Lords[/url], which can be just as stressful. What project am I working on? Well, I am going swimming everyday to help get rid of my asthma. The classes interfere with that though, so in all likelihood, I will have it until I graduate from college... [Edited on 7/13/2006]

ya i ride bikes but i dont need one to break down on me i bought a new one after my OLD DUMMY HEAD bike had a broken pedal and twisted handlebars after ia couple days after purchase!

I have a slew of new writing projects and a few graphic design ones. I was in the middle of writing the rest of the bnet story, but I'll have to find time to finish that later. I also have work - I [i]am[/i] in the ARMY, after all.

It's only about 3 years old, and it's really designed to do what I need it to do. It's a commuter bike with disc brakes, a mountain rack, an internal gear hub and (most important to me) no shocks! It's built to ride around the city in all conditions, even rain and snow, with minimal upkeep. I did think about getting a new bike, but mine was just slightly less than perfect, so I tweaked it. My only complaint is that it's heavy. I can't tweak that.

I found this really retro wooden skateboard -looks like 50's style or something, you know, really wide and thick- in the trash. I've been trying to learn how to skateboard again on it (sold my previous board in a garage sale) but my center of balance has completely changed since then so its a real challenge.

Choosing what stuff I want for my Jeep Grand Cherokee to make it even better off-road. Also, trying to figure out what that damn squeak is coming from my front, driver's side break. Other than that............lake stuff. Oh, and I'm also deciding what college I want to go to and what I want to major in. That is, unless I decide not to go to college. We'll see. I used to be amazing at skateboarding but I gave it up a long time ago.I tried to skate again but I have no balance now and I get scared I will fall and die.I can still do all the standard kick moves but can't do too many grinds or grab moves.
