Humpday: Cavegirls

This week Bungie took on the Cayote Cavegirls in the aftermath of our record breaking two game non-losing streak. Could Bungie fend off the suck for a third consecutive week? The answer to that, plus hot chicks, to follow.

 • There's lots of fun people in the world. I perfectly understand that it's not possible to play against everyone. But no reason to imply that we're not fun. I mean, if we are doing something we must be doing it because we think it's fun. That is after our work and other responsibilities are done. OK, I'm taking this way too seriously.

 •
Posted by: Rambo Rachel
Posted by: Ninja 0n Fire
Posted by: Rambo Rachel You are, but the question is: why twice? I'm sure there are many other clans or organizations that are chomping at the bit to get a chance to play Bungie in a Humpday Challenge.
When we find a group of people that we really enjoy playing with, we're likely to play them more than once. It's not so much about equal opportunity as it is about us having fun with people who want to play with us to have fun. Yes, there are many clans and organizations that are eager to play against us, most of which never will due to their attitude of "OMG our clan will totally pwnzor your noob asses!!!!!1" - that just doesn't sound like a very fun challenge to accept. We like to play with good sports, we like to laugh and we love to have fun... for me personally, that's all the humpday challenges are about. These events take place in our free time, when we could be spending time with our friends and families, or doing any number of other things. That's primarily why I am picky about who I play with, I don't want to waste my night playing against some jerks who are going to talk smack and try to Banshee surf the bomb on top of buildings or any other nonsense... I can do that anytime in matchmaking. ;-)
I understand this (especially the part about the clans with the "Our clan will pwn you Bungie" attitude). I was actually going to include this in my previous post, but decided to omit it because I knew it would be brought up later anyway. Taking this (these clans/organizations) into account, you must have other people on your list who you'd at least like to play in a challenge, besides the "other" ones.
N0F , I Nakki I wants to play you and a few of your friends, with me and a few other mature players ;-) [Edited on 7/13/2006]

 • I apologize in advance for asking this here but I didn't know where else to post this and this seemed like the most intelligent spot. There are a bunch of regulars at the website halo2.junk.ws that would be interested in challenging Bungie to a Humpday battle. I realize that this is not the correct place to post this so if there is a better place could someone please direct me? Thank you for your time. [Edited on 7/9/2006]

 • WTG Cavegirls Im with Spalding on this one although I was already a member the challenge was already in the works "boo hoo as tears roll down my face" no seriously how excellent is it that we as a gaming community have the opprotunity to rub shoulders with the geniuses (yes a shamless plug) of bugie? I have played other great games on xbox but only here are we able to get direct feedback from the actual creators doesnt technology rock? ok ok im totally babbling but geez guyz give the bungie boys a break not only are they in the midst of creating the newest game to consume our gamer lives but they take the time to answer all our ridiculous comments!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! So next time you post a comment how bout saying something positive and supportive and save the trash talk for the game where you have to put up or shup up lololololol GIRLS RULE AND BOYS DROOL!!!!!!!

 • Well I'm glad to see that everybody likes to gangbang my post, but I'll let it slide. (This time)......(malicious laughter in backround) Anyways what I meant was people who aren't well knowen, or female, can play against the people who made this great game. Now If you can find any error in this post please keep you sarcastic responses to yourself. I play Halo and post stuff for fun not so people can make fun of what I say. Thanx. Any ways, Cheers P.S. Beowul7 You POON! [Edited on 7/8/2006]

 • This is all a farce. They played these same people before AND after unwillingly playing HaloPlanet. That was like a month ago. They've been unfairly participating with other members of the community and passing it off as if it was the "first time". -blam!- that. CONSPIRACY!!!

I wonder how different it is with the Frag Dolls.
Perhaps Bungie shall bring more hotttnezz to Humpday (this post reeks of innuendo) and make their next challenge the Frag Dolls. How about it, guys?
lmao. That day may come.

 •
Posted by: IIDWells55XII So what exactly are you doing to record then? Wiring the Xbox through a DVD recorder? Such would explain "DVD Quality." As for distribution, how about something other than the typical Quicktime and WMV? How about offering XviD 640x480 - excellent quality with a small file size!
By DVD quality I think he means it's on a DVD. :P The quality isn't too bad though, I capture at max resolution/bitrate for DVD authoring, but I am currently only capturing a composite signal. It looks great on a regular television, but on a HD display you can see some noise and artifacting. I'll be recording on my 360 with s-video in the future, so it should provide a cleaner picture. I'm not using anything fancy to capture, just a Dazzle DVC 170. I'm not particularly worried about trying to capture in 720p or anything crazy, this is simply for my own amusement and to give us additional perspectives to reference when doing the writeup for the event.

I guess I have all you awesome people at Bungie to thank for that! ^_^
