Bungie Beta Sign-Up
I received an email from who I think may be bungie that states they are recruiting beta testers. However, I have heard this is a common way viruses are spread and wondering if anyone knew if this was legit.

Because of the mass amount of traffic to the survey, we managed to crash the server. So they shut it down. They are trying to fix it and we will be alerted when it is back up and running. Dont jump to conclusions mate.

I didn't think I got one, but it was totally in my Junk folder since yesterday. And I had the folder hidden so I couldn't see that there was something in there until right now. Anyway, if you click the link now you're too late.

I got one. It was legit. Never asked for email or password. So even if it's some joke they got nothing useful. All it asked was stuff like how often do you play games and what kind of games do you like to play.

I recently got one from Bungie as well. ^_^ So it's most likely legit, just be cautious and make sure your anti-virus is on.

Its legit. Just got the email. It was only a survey and its not live anymore. I missed out, sadly.

Thanks for the recommendations guys. Mine is from playtest@bungie.com so from what it seems this is real. I just thought it was strange how this one was bungie.com when their site is bungie.net. Whatever the case, I appreciate the feedback. Good luck to anyone else in pursuit of beta testing :)
