so... he lied?
well... not to say i told ya so... but shishka... was wrong. he always has been. i know he was trying to keep things under wraps... but was it really neccesary to make fun of the people that had faith in bungie, for wishing for another halo? anyways, those things have passed and its officially been announced that it shall be released in 2007. ive been clawing at my xbox 360 controller all day, watching the video over and over and over... i just... cant wait. and *tear* they brought back the AR!!!!

We're not calling anyone out or pointing fingers. People have their directions and orders to do things, as long as they accomplish their goal than all is well. Shishka is his own persona, stop ragging on him and bask in the glory that Halo 3 will finally come your way in time.

At no time did anybody say that Halo 3 was [i]not[/i] the next project. I said many times that there was not an announcement for it, or any information released, or a release date, or any real proof that it was, because at the time there was no such announcement/info/date/proof. I think you'll find all the moderator posts (and staff posts, for that matter) strike the same tone. -- Steve asks that folks [i]carefully[/i] read what's written... so they don't get misled and draw a bunch of wrong conclusions.

at this point im glad bungie kept it a secret for as long as they did. ANd if Shishka ever offended u... can u blame him. We were so jumpy, he had to keep everything a secret and after a while he probbaly just got pissed off every once in awhile. It happens

i hope they release the Demo soon, that is what i am waiting for, then when i play the demo top to bottom and memorise it, Halo 3 will actually be out. then i will play that even more than Halo 2! (sorry Halo 2, but Halo 3 is the newest!)

"Bungie has not announced their next project." So many people have mistaken that for a claim the game wasn't coming out (not that I knew a thing about this). It's irritating to hear somebody say members of the site told them Halo 3 wasn't coming out when all they were noting was that it's possible it could have been any game. Then they go on the defensive and start trashing older games like Marathon. I'm glad this is a new forum because most of you wouldn't know what I was saying...

No one at Bungie ever said they weren't making Halo 3, just that they weren't admitting to it.
