Noo... Person...

Don't you just hate it when you rock up for work... you're doing your usual thing... but there's a new person on. Someone who is doing a buddy shift to learn the ropes and how to do everything... and 5 minutes into the shift, they start telling you how to do things... even though you've been working there over a year... Grrrr... Tristan ;-)

 • Actually that happens a lot to me. My mom owns the shop so I don't come in all that often, pretty much just when I need money. So they think I'm new too, even though I've been workin there for years.

 • Yes I have had someone do that. There is this one girl at my work (we will call her Bob to concil her idenity) and since she started she has been acting like she is over all of the other employies. Bob never does her work the she is told to do and always asks off for more vacation. Today we learned Bob got fired, and all of the other employies broke out into song and dance.

 • I can somewhat relate... we just hired a new girl at my typical teenage fast food job (D'angelo's Sandwhich Shops - it's a New England chain)... 25 minutes into it (Her first 25 minutes ever on shift) she start's telling me I'm not putting enough chicken into the chicken stirfry... even though we have a specific "ounce-age" we're supposed to put in. 3.5oz if you're a curious buggah. I can feel your pain brother, hallelujah. Man, I'm full of the complaints tonight. Fun stuff. Edit: For grammatical ignorance. [Edited on 6/22/2005]

 • Well, I don't have a job, due to the fact that I'm not even out of highschool yet, but I can say that I do have some idea about what that is like.
