28 Million and counting.....
I just read the news. 28 Million page views in two month. That is scary. To outline the breadth of this: This means that every person in Sweden had to look at this page four times since April to get such a number. If you think about it. Numbers that describe/exceed the population size of a country. Good job Bungie!
Now imagine the sales for Halo 2. Twice as many games sold as Halo?
Those stats kill me. Speaking of it, bungie.net still doesn't feature the stats site. It still shows "Coming soon."

And to add to it all, the game is being made by a company that is going to deliver. This might all sound a little weird, but basically, the attention they are getting is well worth it, as the game is going to deliver...and that's probably a good place for the stats to come in: to make it more than just a game, but turn it into a lifestyle and [b]real[/b] community That's what Bungie's about

they will need more than a million,more like 10 million...i pre-ordered H2 over a year ago and i get the special edition not the regular

Preordering....wow, that like music in my ears. The problem is that I can't/don't want to. I've done lots of research to preorder a Special Edition Halo 2 Version in Germany and there is no store offering it. In fact, I would have to spend 70€ already if I preordered just the normal version. I think Bungie will be done in September, using October to produce those million copies.

scary indeed, be sure to preorder, Halo 2 comes out Nov. 9th, so they will probably be done by mid july at latest to produce millions of copies of Halo 2 needed on day of release, of course i have no idea how long it takes to manufacture the games so my estimate is purely a guess [Edited on 6/17/2004 4:35:04 PM]
