• Well, Think the system needs something to help show a users activity in addition the member status. How exacty does this system work anyway? post count?

 • That's not what I'm saying. At least, I'm not trying to come across as however you interpretted it. ...wow, you're right that didn't come out right at all. I just looked back at that.

 •
Posted by: XworstpirateevaX If people are "so active" then why are the still normal memebers? As a legendary member, I can claim I've posted thousands of quality posts for 3+ years. Maybe not the most active, but dedicated? yeah.
No. You can't. At all. Stop relying on your forum title for predetermined standpoints about your own self-worth. You have no clue how the trust system works, and it's just a title, not a rank.

 • Why does such a thread persist? Better yet, why are you all constantly fueling the engine of this waste of space?

 • This is a perfect example of how inconsistent Foman is and why he is a bad mod. The thread I made the other day about the BNet moderator getting the sack was locked by Foman on the individual users rule. Now if you consider the fact that Yoozel had left it unlocked while locking others shows that in Yoozel's opinion the thread was worthy of discussion and RELEVANT to the community. Still there are mod threads on the Septagon right now that really have no point yet remain unlocked. Not only that but any thread that gives Septagon regulars a chance to pat each other on the back always remains open. Not only that but if you want to be heard in this forum you have to reply to every thread and quote every user and act all nicey nicey even if really, deep down inside, you are a sick paedophile. Eg 1 CG makes blog threads and actively recruits his private groups here. (against the rules) Eg 2 Other "Well known members" get away with bumping threads made by their friends. Eg 3 lots of threads about individual users are created. Foman is seriously the most inconsistent mod of all time. There are times when I think "Hey he isn't that bad" and there are other times when he is out of line and uses his mod tools based on his opinions rather than the CoC. I hope you enjoy the rest of this circle jerk you call a thread. Oh and for those who care. Trigger got the sack for bashing Bungie. [Edited on 08.03.2008 10:02 PM PDT]

 •
Posted by: Maimum FEAR I can see this thread turning into a popularity contest. And it depends what you mean by active, most time logged in? Most posts made?
Turning into one??? It has been from the start. And what does he mean by active? He doesn't. This guy's just gone off on a posting spree, trying to come up with as many fathomable ideas as possible to get hits for his own threads. All the others were locked, but this one stuck due to b.net's insistence upon immature, trivial things like popularity within it's forums. Think about it. What discussion is to be had here other than bickering over who is a "better" member? All that's happening is irresolvable arguments and ass-kissing aplenty. I certainly don't see that as genuine in any way...

 • I've had trouble finding threads worthy of my attention lately. Popularity contests like these are always good fun but what I from experience would put in the grey-zone area so I had to make sure that a mod had posted before (silent approval) I dared to hit the reply button :) On topic, in terms of posts here in the septagon it's most likely SJ. I doubt that he's posting as much as some of the people in the Flood though which probably isnt a bad thing looking at the content in most of those people's posts.

 • Let me help Foman on this one.
I think it better that the thread be locked entirely; topics about individual users are not allowed for precisely this reason. The Code of Conduct prohibits any thread that may cause "unwanted attention" to a specific user. That appears to be exactly what happened here, and this is a good reminder that topics about individual users are prohibited even when they're about a forum "regular."
•
Posted by: TranscendArcus SonicJohn is the completely obvious answer, though I would of course include all of the other Septagon regulars like hawkeye, elmicker, etc., etc. At the moment, this thread is looking more and more like a popularity contest to me however.
