These past few weeks have really been bad news for gaming. Okay, so... Activision has destroyed Call of Duty, Guitar Hero, and World of Warcraft. EA was responsible for ruining possibly the greatest game trilogy of this generation...
But the straw that broke the camel's back for me, is the fact that LucasArts sabotaged the development of Battlefront III, and also still haven't come out with a sequel to RC2, Jedi Knight, or Rogue Squadron for this generation. I understand that this is cOLD, but it still pisses me the hell off. WHY would they do this?
Oh, and let's not forget about Day One DLC and the multiplayer activation codes.
Publishers are seriously starting to scare me. Greed is destroying the industry, and it's only getting worse. Look at the Crysis series. Crysis 2, while still a good game, was completely inferior to Crysis 1. And after establishing that The Ceph are all over the world, they're sending us RIGHT BACK TO NEW YORK CITY FOR CRYSIS 3. It looks like EA's bull-blam!-ery is affecting Crytek as well.
Is it true that Indie and F2P games are the future? Are we going to have another video game crash?

I liked Crysis 2 more than Crysis 1. While I agree that publishers are starting to worse with Online Passes, etc, I think the community is also getting worse. They will attack anything that is wrong with a game. They tore Mass Effect 3, which I think is the best game in the trilogy, apart just because of the ending. I don't let the little things ruin the whole for me.
