Bungie Appreciation Thread!
I've created this thread simply for people to thank Bungie for their work, and to say happy anniversary. Simple as it gets.

I can't help but marvel at Bungie's ability to generate near Christmas-like excitement and anticipation in its fans. It seems the forums are ablaze with speculations and questions, with everyone hoping for just one last oh-so-delicious morsel. And like many others, I felt inspired to write. While not of particularly high quality, I think the following poem accurately describes much of the excitement while poking a bit of fun at some community groups. I give you The Night Before Monday: 'Twas the Night Before Monday And all through the forums Every creature was stirring Especially the morons With giddy glee did they chat Much about this and much about that 'Till midnight did come and they all crept to bed Images of the Webmaster dancing drunk in their heads They awoke with a start and jumped from the beds Flailing their arms high over their heads Scampered did they to their waiting white boxes Punching at buttons and launching Firefoxes With a click and press the process began Cold Storage was free, just one part in the plan! The pics, the theme, the wonderful map, It's almost enough to make a man scream "Holy crap!" Unto the forums they journeyed with glee, Clattering, smashing, and jabbing their keys. With eyes bright and shiny, they put forth their thanks "Way 2 go Bungie, "now put Snipers as ranked." [Edited on 07.06.2008 6:32 PM PDT]
