The update we'll never get posts are from people that don't know shit from sprinkles about development and think it's easy to just add a whole new game mode and cutscenes
Tl;Dr found at the bottom. Look how many people deny their addiction and defend the game, knowing damn well the game is designed to play off of the reward system we all have in our brains, even with the simple probability of being rewarded is enough to keep people attached. If anything destiny is an incredible social experiment. Not a good game, not even close. Once you step away for a bit, examine the fundamentals behind the game you'll see its deliberately and psychologically manipulative, designed to keep you playing just to see what's in the next engram. It's Las Vegas in a video game. Except instead of money it's your time. Throw in hundreds of hours, with maybe 20 minutes of those that are actually efficient in getting leveled up. The rest is spent navigating around the time limits that serve no real purpose, the random drops where once in awhile you get something decent only to find out every other player has the same damn item. Bungie has made it clear that this will never be the game they described to us. There will never be an intricate galaxy wide story. There will never be additional areas, as seen from the house of Wolves leaked content. You cannot go where ever your eyes can reach, as purposed by Bungie spokespeople repeatedly. There will be and endless grind resulting in nothing of actual relevance, since every other gaurdian in the galaxy has the same damn outfit, cloak, mark etc Their first dlc was twenty to thirty minutes long, that was the same god damn locations just in the opposite direction the second dlc is more of the same. Tl;Dr,....game blows, destiny can't make an rpg, if you defend the game remember addicts always defend and hate the substance their addicted too. The hamster wheel was the main inspiration behind this game.
I haven't logged in for around 2 weeks now... I dont have any motivation to. I'm bored already. I might jump on the hard raid when dont have anything else to do. But the only point in that is to get a gun or two... hardly worth the effort. Let's not mention that this so called "Hard Mode" was completed in 27mins... sigh. The games is so -blam!-ing devoid of any meaningful content or longevity. What could be one of the greatest games ever made has just turned into a tool for the rich executives to buy their next car or give themselves a bonus. They need to decide what they want... another COD which they just re-release every year for the ignorant mindless window lickers, or head towards a proper mmorpg and keep people playing and paying for "REAL" expansions (not content that was just cut from the original game to milk customers pockets). You cant have both. I know what would prefer. WoW is so successful for a reason... it has content, depth and longevity. You cant complete the new content in less than half an hour.

I see so many discouraging remarks to people asking for possitive change. I understand that most of you that oppose possitive change posts have been brainwashed by the corporations to take the scraps you over pay for and be thankfull to the corporate pharos who are your gods. But you're wrong. Wake up. VtxR - PS3

They have weekly updates every Thursday. Stop acting like a child and wait like everyone else instead of spamming.

Millions play this game. Millions. Hundreds have whined. Hundreds You do the math. Deej, please do not respond.
-
I wonder how much 5 strikes would cost the players. we paid $20 for 2 strikes, raid & 5(?) story missions. I'd love a $40 price tag on a strike pack. [face_laughing]

Lame. Beg a little harder.

Bump.

The things in this "update" take a while. The person who wrote it does not realise how long most of this stuff will take bungie need time!
-
Everyone just needs to be patient, have any of you just stopped to consider how long it takes to code a videogame? For all we know, bungie could be working on these things right now. This game has great potential and hopefully bungie will someday have tweaked it enough to where it is exactly what we are all looking for, just be patient until then.
-
I'm sure DEEJ made a sticky note about it.
-
All these "the update we will never get" posts mean somthing, you cant ignore them.
Ignoring them is the official bungie policy on the matter. You see, eventually the oldest destiny fans who were the most alienated will find better games to move on to and then the bungie team can have another pizza party and tell each other what a good job they did in the face of adversity.

Seriously just read this. I'm tired of these forums just tearing bungie down. Everything's not going to be perfect In the beginning, but there's always room for improvement. And yes, bungie is listening.
-
He isn't gonna respond since he is just listening to good feedback not bad feedback
-
Or he could just ban all the idiots reposting it

-
No we don't. After reporting people for about an hour last night the forums are clear.
-
Yes, they can be ignored. The mute button works wonders.
-
No, we don't need a response. Anyone with half a brain knows that over half of the things listed in that post are not viable for multiple reasons. The ones that are viable aren't going to happen overnight. All those spammers are doing is mindlessly copying and pasting, not annoying bungie, but the gamers that actually use this forum instead. So no..we certainly don't need a response.

SOMETHING* the E is silent.

People forget the Luke Smith has a Twitter.

All the 'update we will never' posts just mean people know how to use cut and paste.
