Which is better on a titan?
Have both of them, just got my titan to level 24 with these two helms...which should I use. Right now I have only worked on defender

1 ReplyOf those options St.14 is the better choice. Of all Titan exotics Ruin Wings are my favorite, followed by Armamentarium. They are both effective regardless of subclass, so it's one less concern, not to mention they have really good effects.

Ruin wings for the most part. But it's all situational. I switch it up.

Glass house for DPS and over shield. Saint 14 for charging enemies.

1 ReplyHelm of Sant 14 most of the time. Glasshouse during battle with atheon and crota (or applicable boss battles where you do not need to blind mobs) for longer duration of bubble. Likewise, when you are soloing lantern waiting for bridge to form. Extra 5 secs gives you more leeway and that you do not need to stall the ogre (by precision shooting him) as much before you pop the bubble.

I was using Saint 14 when duoing the nightfall with my 3 characters this week and had it drop 2 out of 3 runs. Madness!!

4 RepliesI have these plus the insurmountable one. I rotate depending what I am doing or if there is another Titan on my team. I use helm of ST IF no one else is using it as it blinds thralls in the 1st part of crota. Glasshouse was my go to for my bubble to extend it on norm mode and this weeks hard. Though I ended up getting insurmountable as it gives health back. It is really up to the way you play and what you feel most comfortable with.

There is no contest. It's saint 14. Glasshouse is utter trash in comparison. 5 seconds extra on your buffs? It's barely an exotic.

Edited by Chit Chat: 1/29/2015 6:23:07 AMGlass house is a very nice Titan helm however you're never too far away from the bubble to get the benefits of the extra 5 seconds of weapons of light or blessing of light. On top of that blessing of light could disappear after taking damage and then it doesn't matter. But Glasshouse does have its place. Such as the fight with Atheon on Vault of Glass or Crucible where you want to give your team a weapon buff while they're on the move. But helm of saint 14 is......the best. If you put armor of light coupled with it it is just a sanctuary for you and your team. Nothing can touch you.

Saint is better for crowd control and just normal usage. Glasshouse is better for bosses or extended high dps

it honestly depends on the situation for VoG glasshouse CE Saint 14. Depends on what perks are active and play style.

Similar but saint has that one better perk to gain super energy and causes blindness to the enemy's inside which is good

I like the "No Backup Plans" personally. But out of those two, I'd go for Helm of Saint-14.

I have Glasshouse and really hope xur sells Saint 14 this week so i can go back to soloing everything lol............ but then im about to turn level 32 anyway.

I use Helm of Saint 14 and Helm of inmost light, for each of there specific subclasses.
